Lucy, who plays Chas Dingle, has been part of the soap for 23 years and been part of many a memorable scene. Her latest Instagram Story hints that Chas is in for some more excitement, what could it be? Chas has been a comfort to Liam (Credit: ITV) Chas Dingle in Emmerdale Chas has been involved in several storylines recently. Most recently she has been supporting partner Liam Cavanagh while he waited for test results to determine if he had prostate cancer. She’s also playing a part in Charity’s surrogacy storyline. It was recently revealed that the baby Charity is carrying is Ross’s. John had everyone fooled – including Chas. So it came as a big surprise to them all when he was outed as a killer. Chas struggled to accept Robert Sugden was right all along, but she has now given her blessing for him to date her son. Lucy shared an exciting update (Credit: Instagram) Lucy teases ‘something special’ Taking to Instagram this week, Lucy Pargeter updated her Stories. Alongside a picture of herself in a fedora style hat, she tagged Emmerdale and wrote “something special is coming your way!!!” Lucy shared no further details leaving fans to speculate over what could be coming their way. While her character has been involved in plenty of other character’s stories of late, she hasn’t had her own for a while – where Chas has been the main focus. Could we be getting a Chas-centric story? However, the vague message could be referring to a number of things and may not necessarily be storyline related. With the hat, Lucy could be taking part in some kind of special event or performance. Perhaps for charity or with others members of the Emmerdale cast, given she tagged Emmerdale in her post.
