The Vanessa Woodfield actress has now reached out to confirm what the future holds for her on the soap. Michelle is set to star in a short film and filming is soon to begin. It is still in the crowdfunding stage and is about growing up as a child of domestic abuse. Rose is described as always having had a “strong moral compass but she’s thrown for a loop when her estranged father asks to see her on his death bed.” Rose is happily married to her wife and doesn’t want to think about her awful upbringing. Emmerdale fans worry for Vanessa’s future on the show as Michelle clarifies As many of her current co-stars including Ash Palmasciano (Matty Barton) rushed to the comments section to share their congratulations, some fans were worried. “HOLD ON!!!! What about Emmerdale?” one practically shouted. Another said: “Thought for a min you were leaving Emmerdale – I was gonna cause uproar.” Fortunately, Michelle set the record straight by replying to her fans almost immediately. “Alongside it,” she reassured them.
