(Credit: ITV/Shutterstock) Perdy makes plans Perdy tries to talk Gray into moving to America, insisting it would speed up their surrogacy attempt. But Gray is non-committal, and Perdy is disappointed. Matthew visits Perdy and convinced she’s making a mistake, he tells her to leave Gray. He points out that the problems in their marriage won’t be solved by adding a baby to the mix. article continues below Read all the latest spoilers Perdy disagrees, telling Matthew she’s not leaving her husband and they’re moving to the States. She’s relieved when Gray finally agrees to the move, and tells Katie the news. Katie’s not happy. She is worried about Gray and so she does some research online. Later, she stuns Chas by telling her she’s going to offer to be a surrogate for Perdy and Gray. Katie makes an offer! Chas is horrified and tells Katie to change her mind, but Katie finds Gray and tells him that she’d be happy to carry their baby for them. Gray is thrilled with Katie’s offer and tells her he’ll talk to Perdy as soon as possible. When he tells Perdy about her offer to be a surrogate. Perdy is stunned and alarmed by the idea of someone they know being their surrogate. Katie worries that she’s upset Perdy and Gray, but Gray eventually talks Perdy into giving it a try, and they agree to give Katie their approval. With things moving fast, Chas warns Katie it’s not a good idea, but she’s determined. She goes along to a surrogacy meeting with Gray and Perdy. The rep warns her it’s a big responsibility but she doesn’t waver. The Sugdens are struggling Andy and Victoria are left in limbo as the police consider their statements. Daz tells the Sugdens his dad is a hero, but Victoria visits Billy and tells him she wishes they’d both drowned in the lake leaving Billy feeling guilty. Billy goes to see Edna and tells her he needs to leave town. Edna tries to make him reconsider but he won’t budge. When Daz comes back later, he discovers Billy is nowhere to be seen, and all he’s left is a note saying sorry. Viv is eager to gossip about who started the fire. Meanwhile, Andy suggests Jo takes Sarah away for a little while. He tells Jack that Jo and Sarah are going to visit Annie for a few weeks. Meanwhile, Jack’s got more on his mind. He admits to Andy that he’s not sure the insurance will cover him for the fire. Andy says he and Victoria can stay with him until everything’s sorted. Eric’s up to no good! David wants to spend time with Jasmine but injured Eric puts demands on his time. When David manages to sneak off from the house, Eric is surprised to discover he can walk by himself. But when Val pops by, Eric hobbles back into the wheelchair, hoping for sympathy. When David has a clash of appointments, he ropes Val into taking wheelchair-bound Eric to a business meeting. Val is a bit grumpy and jealous when she discovers that Eric’s business contact is an attractive woman. So in typical Val style, she takes over the meeting and then ushers the client out. But later, Val spots Eric getting out of his wheelchair and she’s furious about his deception so she plots to take revenge. Back together! She invites Eric for a picnic. Keen to get back with his ex, Eric agrees. But when he makes his move, Val resists his advances, steals his mobile and drives off, leaving Eric stranded! Eric is forced to walk back home – proving he’s been milking his injuries. When Val confronts Eric about his lies, he sheepishly tells her he lied so he could spend more time with her. Flattered Val agrees to give their relationship another go. David is horrified to hear Eric and Val are back together but Eric defends his rekindled romance. Meanwhile,Val warns Eric that David needs to wind his neck in if they’re really going to make a go of things. So Eric has some stern words with his son, warning him he’ll disown him if he tries to meddle with his relationship again. But when their new romance is the talk of the village, Eric decides to take Val on a mini-break to escape. Sam moves out Sam’s determined to find somewhere for him and Samson to live together. But when he’s turned down for a council house, he goes to see Eric to see if he can help. Zak’s annoyed, though, and he forces Eric to withdraw his offer of help Sam get a council house. Sam is upset and quickly works out his dad intervened. Sam is furious and more determined to leave the Dingles’ cottage than ever. He asks Carl if he can rent Dale View, but Carl wants to do things properly, so Sam asks Eric to be his guarantor. Sam moves in to the cottage and throws a big housewarming party! But when Emily finds out Sam has spent well over his budget on the gathering she puts some money into his savings tin secretly. When the party kicks off, a window gets smashed and poor Sam is full of worries that he’s bitten off more than he can chew. There is a moment between Ross and Donna (Credit: ITV/Shutterstock) Ross causes Marlon problems Ross’s estranged girlfriend Kirsty arrives in the village. Marlon is delighted to see her, hoping she and Ross will reunite and that will keep him away from Donna! But actually Ross breaks up with Kirsty, and Donna runs to Ross’s side to comfort him, leaving Marlon disgruntled. And there’s more trouble in store when Donna realises her husband has discussed their lack of sex with half the village, so she banishes him to the spare room! After an apology from Marlon, Donna lets him back into the bedroom. He looks forward to a night of passion and he prepares a romantic meal. But the meal goes to waste when Donna stays out drinking with Ross. He catches drunk Donna when she stumbles, and there’s a spark of attraction between them. When Donna gets home, she and Marlon have another argument. Ross apologises to Marlon for causing trouble with Donna, and offers to move out of Tall Trees. But Marlon says he can stay. Meanwhile, Donna’s working hard ahead of her interview to become a real policewoman. Bob encourages Marlon to support her, so he cooks Donna dinner and doesn’t mind when Donna ignores him to get stuck into revision. But Marlon worries more when Ross tells him that the pressure of his own police interview split him and his girlfriend up! Jasmine’s annoyed with Nicola Jasmine’s thrilled when her story about the fire makes it into the Courier and dreams of being able to hand in her notice to Nicola. Meanwhile, Nicola manages to delay David from going to Sam’s party to meet Jasmine, and Jasmine’s annoyed. She warns David not to let Nicola drag him into her games. David promises Jasmine he’ll go with her to Debbie’s 18th birthday party. But when Nicola finds out she demands that David go to a business meeting where she spends the afternoon plying him with alcohol. Obviously, David arrives at the party late and Jasmine and Debbie make cutting remarks about him being under Nicola’s control. Nicola’s been keeping a big secret! (Credit: ITV/Shutterstock) Nicola’s secret is revealed! Convinced Nicola and David are having an affair, Jasmine decides to follow Nicola to see where she goes. She’s surprised when she tails Nicola to a hospital. Sneaking after her, Jasmine is even more shocked to discover that Nicola is visiting her supposedly ‘dead’ husband. He’s being kept alive on life support! Jasmine dons her journalist hat, and finds out that if Donald De Souza dies, Nicola will end up penniless, because all his money will go to his son. Appalled to realise Nicola is keeping Donald alive just so she can keep her hands on his cash, Jasmine tells David what she’s found out. He says he’s going to confront Nicola. When David speaks to Nicola she’s one step ahead. She tearfully ‘confesses’ and then tells him that her stepson is an alcoholic. She reveals he won’t inherit if he’s still drinking at the time of Donald’s death. Nicola convinces David that they will both lose out if Miles inherits the business so she suggests that it’s in David’s interest to make sure that Miles is still on the booze! Will he agree? Laurel upsets Emily Laurel hosts Sunday lunch for family and friends but Doug is a bit heavy handed with the drinks and ends up very tipsy! When he loudly congratulates Laurel for setting Emily up with the bishop, Laurel is mortified! Emily is upset to find out what her supposed friend is up to and feels embarrassed in front of her friends. Jamie makes a mistake Jamie is pleased to secure a group booking for the B&B but it all backfires when the booking turns out to be a rowdy stag party! Louise isn’t happy when a stripper shows up at the B&B and handcuffs Jamie as part of her routine! Terry storms in to see what’s going on, leaving Jamie grovelling for making a mistake. Where’s Rosemary? Paddy’s having a hard time running the vet’s without Rosemary, and he’s also worried about what may have happened to her. He goes to find Gray to see what he knows, but he’s shocked when Gray admits he couldn’t care less where his mother has gone.
