Debbie gets ditched

When Debbie apologises to Chas, she’s hopeful they can get back to normal. But though Chas accepts Debbie’s apology, she makes it clear they can’t be friends. Eli spots a lonely Debbie and talks her into going for a drink.

The pair later make their way back to Debbie’s and they end up in bed – again. But Debbie is gutted when she wakes up to find that Eli has nicked her phone and her laptop, and given them to Kelly so she can delete the pics of her and Eli together.

Cold feet?

Jimmy arranges a picnic for Kelly, but has to cancel when work gets in the way. Later, Carrie visits Jimmy and apologises for trying to kiss him, but things are still awkward between the pair. When she catches up with Louise, Carrie admits she thinks Jimmy is making a mistake in marrying Kelly.

Kelly isn’t happy when she hits the Woolpack for her hen night and discovers Viv has organised some strippers! But things get worse when Viv has to improvise when it turns out the strippers she booked can’t make it. Bob, Jamie and Marlon are the stand-ins – dressed up as a Red Indian, a sailor, and a dinosaur!

Jimmy says ‘I don’t’!

As the wedding day dawns , Kelly’s busy with wedding prep when her phone rings. Scarlett answers and on the other end, Debbie launches into a tirade unaware of who’s picked up. Which means Scarlett finds out about the photo of Kelly and Eli!

When Carl sees the photo he tells a devastated Jimmy.

Desperate to get down the aisle, guilty Kelly tries to reason with Jimmy that kissing Eli was a mistake and meant nothing.

Jimmy forgives Kelly for her drunken kiss with Eli but as the pair get ready to say their vows, he jilts her at the altar when Eli tells him about the abortion!

Viv tells Kelly she’s disowning her, again, and Jimmy is too angry to speak to her. He says she’s broken his heart and he can never be with her again.

With nowhere to turn, Kelly steals some money and then Debbie’s car! And she leaves Emmerdale.

Debbie gets to know her daughter

Meanwhile, things aren’t great for Debbie either. And Jasmine is disgusted when she finds out why Eli stole Debbie’s phone and laptop. But Lisa invites her for lunch with daughter Sarah.

Debbie starts to enjoy being with her daughter, but she’s not pleased when Lisa is called into work and she’s forced to babysit. Lisa, though, is happy when she gets back home to see Debbie having a nice time with Sarah.

The next day, Lisa takes Sarah to visit Debbie at the garage but Debbie turns down Lisa’s offer of lunch. Lisa won’t be put off, though. She’s determined to unite the young mum and her little girl. So later takes Sarah round to Debbie’s and begs her to be more involved in her daughter’s life. But Andy’s furious when he sees Debbie hugging Sarah. Annoyed, he tells Lisa that he doesn’t want Debbie in Sarah’s life.

When Debbie tells Lisa she’s made her decision about Sarah, Lisa still won’t give up. She persuades Chas to have a word with Debbie.

Chas reminds Deb that she walked away from her own son and it was the hardest thing she’s ever done. Debbie is still not convinced but she’s pleased that Chas has thawed towards her.

Ross gets flirty with Donna

Elsewhere, Paddy’s police officer cousin Ross shows up and starts flirting up a storm with the women of the village. Donna’s surprised to find him working at her police station.

Diane’s life falls apart!

Diane’s lies come back to bite her when Jack spots her talking to John from the brewery. Worried, he prods Bob for information about the man he thinks is his love rival and he’s startled when Bob tells him John is gay!

Jack confronts his wife, but she won’t reveal who she really had feelings for.

When Billy comes back to the village, Diane’s awkward and Victoria is suspicious. When she spots Diane and Billy together, she listens in as they discuss their ‘relationship’. The troubled teenager is shocked, and wastes no time in revealing the truth to Jack. Val confirms what Victoria says.

When Vic spots Billy in the village, she tells him he’s going to get his comeuppance and that’s when it really kicks off!

Billy is worried and he calls Diane but her phone is engaged as she’s talking to Val, who tells her sister that Jack knows the truth.

Desperate to save her marriage, Diane rushes home but Jack is too angry and demands she tells him who she’s been sleeping with. Diane’s pleas that she hasn’t slept with Billy fall on deaf ears and Jack tells her their marriage is over.

In perfect timing, Billy then knocks on the door and a furious Jack attacks him! Andy arrives in the nick of time with Victoria, and tries to pull the men apart.

Billy spills family secrets in Classic Emmerdale

Meanwhile, upset Victoria rushes off. When she sees Billy later she fumes at him for ruining her family. And Billy spitefully blurts out that Victoria’s family isn’t perfect and she wouldn’t think they were if she knew the truth about her mother’s death.

Tormented by what Billy has said, Victoria tracks down her mum Sarah’s former lover Richie Carter. She asks him if Jack was responsible for killing her mum. Richie doesn’t reply, which Victoria assumes is a yes.

Reeling, she goes home and douses the cottage with petrol. And when Andy and Jack walk in she threatens to set it alight unless they tell her the truth.

But she’s shocked when it’s Andy who confesses that it was him started the fire that killed Sarah!

Fireball!

Horrified and upset, Victoria races up the stairs and trips, banging her head and knocking herself out cold. Andy and Jack rush to help. As Andy tends to his sister’s wounds, Jack gets a damp cloth. As he turns on the hot water and the boiler pilot light ignites the petrol fumes cause a huge fireball!

The explosion  blows out the downstairs windows as the flames take hold. Quick-thinking Andy smashes the bedroom window and he and Victoria escape, and it’s Billy who comes to Jack’s rescue.

He drags Jack to safety but before he can join him another fireball explodes through the cottage!

Meanwhile, Eric rescues Pearl from the smoke-filled cottage next door.

Classic Emmerdale: Andy confesses!

In the aftermath of the fire, Andy’s full of guilt. He tells Jo he wishes he’d confessed years ago. Worried, Victoria will be in trouble for the fire at the cottage, Andy tells Jo that he’s going to finally confess to the police, but Jo begs him to reconsider.

Meanwhile Billy is still critical in hospital and Jack sits by his bedside. As Jack berates comatose Billy for all the trouble he’s caused, he starts to have trouble breathing. Jack is frozen for a moment – will he let Billy die? But then he calls for help.

When the police come to interview Victoria, Andy confesses to the fire that killed Sarah, devastating Jo and Jack.

Later, Andy and Victoria are interrogated by the police about the fire and Andy is shocked when they ask him if he started it.

Victoria, meanwhile, wants revenge. She lets the police believe that Andy is trying to blame her for the fire and she points the finger at him instead, in retribution for her mother’s death. She suggests that  although she poured the petrol, Andy was the one who lit the fire.
