Having just been released from prison for a crime he didn’t commit, Robert Sugden has been trying to find his feet in the village again. Aaron’s mum Chas has tried to stop Robert spending time with her son, but those wishes were ignored tonight. Aaron turned to Robert for support (Credit: ITV) Robert came to Aaron’s rescue Aaron Dingle was still struggling to process everything. As Nicola gossiped in the cafe and suggested John the “lunatic” must have had help getting away, Aaron lashed out. “You saying it’s me? Why don’t you keep our trap shut?!” He yelled at Nicola before storming out. article continues below Read all the latest spoilers Robert, who had been in the cafe, goes in search of Aaron and comes across him burning John’s stuff. He threw his wedding ring in the fire too before bursting into a fit of coughs. Robert insisted on taking Aaron back to the pub, but Aaron stated he didn’t want that and claimed that “every room that I walk in someone looks at me like I’m a loser.” Robert invites Aaron back to his, “just as mates.” Aaron couldn’t resist (Credit: ITV) Aaron made a move on Robert Aaron confided in Robert about John, telling him he thought watching John’s stuff burn would help him, but “you can’t burn memories, can you?” He also apologised to Robert for pushing him away when he just tried to help. Robert responded by telling Aaron he still cared a lot for him. Taking that as a sign, Aaron leaned in to kiss Robert. But Robert pushed him away, saying: “Not now, not like this.” Aaron was confused, claiming Robert has been chasing him since he got back. Robert admitted he wants Aaron. But he said everything is raw right now and Aaron needs to process what has happened first. He also let slip that Chas had warned Robert off Aaron. Aaron immediately went home to have it out with his mum and shouted at her for treating him like a 5-year-old. What’s the connection between Robert and Kev? (Credit: ITV) ‘K’ to get in the way of a RobRon reunion As Aaron and Robert agreed to be friends for now while Aaron heals, Robert received a message from ‘K’ asking Robert to stop ignoring him. With Robron close to a reunion, the mysterious K is set to delay things even more when he arrives in the village next week. Spoilers for next week reveal that Robert is stunned when he opens the door to a familiar face. He lets the mystery man in and it soon becomes clear that they know each other from prison. Victoria enters and is confused to see her brother holding hands with a man who isn’t Aaron. Robert is then left with some explaining to do. April carried on working for Ray, while lying to Rhona about doing school work. Ray told April to keep the spare ket, but what will she do with it? April was offered Ket April lied to Rhona about doing school work from home then immediately answered her burner phone to tell someone she'd meet them in 10 minutes. She later met Ray to hand over the money she had made alongside a spare bag of ket. However, Ray told her to keep it. April insisted she didn't do it, but Ray encouraged her, claiming she'd be a better dealer if she's tried what she is selling. Dylan was taught a tax lesson Dyaln was disappointed when he received his first wage slip and saw his wage wasn't as high as he thought it'd be. He complained to Caleb at the Depot about some of his money being missing. Caleb then had to educate Dylan about tax and national insurance. But seeing how downcast Dylan looked, Caleb offered him some extra shifts. Dylan later met Ray and tried to hand over a wad of cash towards the debt, but Ray batted him away and warned him to never ever hand over cash where people can see it. Caleb paid off Jai After Jai saw footage of Caleb and John, Caleb knew he had to get Jai off his back. Tonight, at the Depot, Caleb offered to make Jai executive director of operations. Caleb also offered to pay back the money he "stole", with a bit more on top as a "sweetener". In return, Caleb ordered Jai to delete the footage and never mention John's name again. Gabby and Vinny worried about their secrets Gabby and Vinny returned from honeymoon. Laurel could immediately tell that something was up with Gabby, and she eventually confided her secret – she cheated don Vinny. Laurel asked why, and Gabby responded: "It must be genetic." She then claimed she was stupid, selfish and self sabotaging just like her mum. However, she was determined to take the secret to her grave. Vinny, meanwhile, received a letter asking him to testify against Mike. He confided in Kammy that he is worried that if he does it, Gabby will find out everything. As Gabby and Vinny prepared to celebrate getting approval to start the adoption process, will they be able to keep each other in the dark?
