April found herself in trouble after her brother Leo took an ecstasy pill that she’d dropped, but before she could talk to the police, she was stopped in her tracks by Ray’s boss. As Celia Daniels slapped “ungrateful little wretch” April, fans’ jaws hit the ground. April realised she almost killed Leo (Credit: ITV) Leo’s life was in danger in Emmerdale tonight April Windsor was left in charge of Leo. She attempted to bond with him by suggesting they make a video together. But then she received a message from Ray, telling her he needed her. As she rushed out, the pills Ray had given her fell from her pocket. Leo then saw them and picked them up. When Rhona and Marlon returned, Rhona was heard screaming for Marlon to call an ambulance. article continues below Read all the latest spoilers At the hospital, Marlon and Rhona were told that Leo had had an adverse reaction to ecstasy. The doctor said they found a bag with an ecstasy pill in his pocket and warned that it was too early to tell if there will be any long term damage to his heart. The doctor also informed Leo’s worried parents that as drugs were involved, they had to notify police and social services. Marlon and Rhona asked April about the drugs, leaving her feeling terrified that she’d be in trouble with the police. Celia slapped April (Credit: ITV) Celia revealed as mastermind behind the drugs gang At the hospital, Celia pretended to accidentally bump into April. She offered compassion to the teen and took her to get a hot chocolate so she could get a level head before talking to the police. April made a big mistake and decided to confide in Celia, telling her all about dealing drugs. Celia acted concerned and warned April that drug dealers can be dangerous people – “not the sort you’d want to betray by talking to the police.” Then in a shocking transformation, Celia abandoned her compassion and violently slapped April. Celia called her an “ungrateful little wretch,” before adding: “You lost Ray thousands of pounds, and this is how you repay him?” Celia then revealed that she is Ray’s boss. She threatened April, telling her they’d retaliate and come after April and her family if she told the police the truth. With Emmerdale exploring the blurred line between truth and lies, April opted to lie to the police. She told them she’d found the pills on the floor in a park and had picked them up and pretended they were her to look cool in front of her friends. Later, it was also revealed that Celia played a big part in raising Ray and he even calls her Mum. Celia reduced him to a cowering wreck as she called him “a useless, pathetic, weak little man” for allowing April to humiliate him. She warned him to be tougher with April from now on. Ray called Celia “mum” (Credit: ITV) Fans shocked at Celia twist Emmerdale viewers couldn’t believe this latest twist. One fan wrote on X: “This reveal was just INCREDIBLE with Celia being Ray’s boss, that slap absolutely SENT ME.” A second fan said: “I haven’t been gagged at an Emmerdale moment like that in YEARS. Celia is taking it.” While a third fan said: “Ray calling Celia ‘mum’ was such a twist.” A fourth fan added: “CELIA IS THE WHAT OF WHOOO??!!? Along with the big Celia reveal, Gabby also discovered that Vinny has been lying to her. Meanwhile, Robert continued to hide Aaron and Kev from each other. Here's a rundown of what else went down in Emmerdale tonight. Robert visited Kev in prison Victoria warned Robert that he has to end things with one of the men and be honest about what is going on. Robert intended to talk to Kev, but once in the prison he chickened out. When another prisoner looked at Kev, he jumped up and screamed at the prisoner for looking at him in such a way. The outburst didn't seem to surprise Robert, with Kev saying: "Well you know what I can be like." Kev then told Robert he would have nothing to live for if Robert ever left him. He then got emotional as Robert remembered how he wanted to have a chippy tea by the sea in Whitby. "This is why I love you Suggers," he said, as he added that he was glad he’ll be able to look after Robert financially when he is gone. Gabby discovered the truth about 'Mike' On the day of the court case, Gabby tried to encourage Vinny to be honest with her, but he stuck to his original story. Gabby then told Laurel that she was going to court to catch Vinny out. Laurel pointed out that she is lying to Vinny too, but Gabby couldn't be dissuaded. In court, Vinny stuck to his plan to tell the truth. But just as he was about to say how he met Mike and how he struggled with his sexuality, Gabby walked in to public gallery. Vinny was thrown off course briefly, but decided to carry on. Gabby listened in as Vinny discussed his feelings for Kammy and the attack. When he looked up at the gallery to tell Gabby she deserved better, she got upset and rushed out. Gabby devastated Vinny Vinny tracked Gabby down and apologised for not having been honest with her. Gabby tried to be understanding as she hugged him and told him his ordeal was over. But she struggled with the revelation that he might be gay. Vinny said he wasn't gay, but that he wasn't sure he was completely straight either. Gabby shared that she feels like she married a stranger. Kammy popped round to inform Vinny that Mike had been found guilty and sent down. But Vinny's heart was broken when Gabby told him she doesn't think their marriage can survive this.
