And, it’s (obviously) not good. Tonight’s visits to the Dales (Monday, September 1), saw Mack drop Aaron and Robert in it in a desperate attempt to save his life. But, he might’ve just put his mate Aaron Dingle and his ex-lover Robert in major danger… Mack was a desperate man (Credit: ITV) Mack fought back Poor Mack continues to lie chained up in an underground bunker under the clutches of John Sugden. He must’ve used up all of his nine lives by now but he still keeps kicking and breathing all the same. article continues below Read all the latest spoilers After Mack’s escape attempt, he tried his best tonight to convince John that he was a ‘good person’ who couldn’t kill him. John though, told him that he’d told him too many of his secrets. Looking at Mack’s condition, he gave him his last antibiotic and told Mack to cross his fingers that it helped. But, Mack then fought back with words (well, he wasn’t exactly in the position to defend himself physically after all). He blurted out that Aaron was cheating on John Sugden with Robert. Fuming, John tried to keep a cool face before threatening to let Mack die as ‘some people can’t be saved.’ Robert and John go head to head (Credit: ITV) Emmerdale spoilers reveal Robert and John showdown Near the bunker, Aaron tries to make his escape in next week’s Emmerdale spoilers but his knight in shining armour Robert turns up just when he needs him and accuses John of murder. This move backfires though when he ends up on the ground, lifeless. This gives Aaron time to attempt to run away while John is distracted but John catches him. With Aaron begging John to take him to Mack, John can’t worm his way out of this one with one of his usual tales. The time for convincing his hubby is well and truly gone. Instead he phones the police to frame Robert for an incident that is yet to happen. John then jumps off a gorge, bringing Aaron down with him. Robert then panics as he tries to make everyone open their eyes to John’s true colours. But, who will they believe?
