She’s adamant it’s just stress. But is she right? It’s fair to say the pressure is mouting on Moira with Cain off in France hunting John Sugden. But is that really all it is? Moira is clearly exhausted (Credit: ITV) What happened to Moira in Emmerdale tonight? Cain is in France determined to bring John to justice for Nate’s death after Caleb helped him escape abroad. Moira is holding everything together and has been incredibly understanding about her husband’s absence. But things took a turn tonight (Friday October 10) when she started lashing out again. She laid into Kammy about not opening the garage, but Belle reminded her it was super-early and Kammy wasn’t actually late. Moira then snapped at Belle that she didn’t have time to slow down and sit still for breakfast. Moira later collapsed in a field. Matty saw her and helped her back to the house. article continues below Read all the latest spoilers Matty wanted to call the doctor, worried Moira is getting sick again. She insisted she was just really tired and that it was because everything was really hard without Cain at home. Matty wasn’t convinced and shared his fears Moira’s brain tumour could be back. But she continued to say it was just because she was exhausted and must have picked up a virus. Matty launched into Cain saying he needed to step up and come back. Although Moira defended him, Matty knows a thing or two about grief and said he had to face up to his responsibilities. Matty insisted Moira had to demand he comes home, but will she? They happened when she first had her brain tumour. She has since undergone surgery and radiotherapy to rid herself of the mass and was given the all-clear earlier this year. Cain is now MIA and Moira is picking up all the slack. Given she is only recently recovered, it could well be that she’s just tired. Fans are certainly worried though, with some writing their fears on social media: “Is Moira getting sick again?” queried one. Another added: “This is probably something to do with her brain tumour.” “I don’t think she’s just overworked,” agreed one more. So while we don’t know if her tumour has returned – or if there are any plans to revisit the storyline, it’s clear Moira isn’t okay. And where is Cain when she needs him? Finally accepting enough is enough on Monday (October 13) she phones him and orders him home. Cain does return soon after, but he’s on a self-destructive path. He just wants to drink himself into distraction. Moira questions him about John, but he’s evasive in his response. Moira tries to talk to him about his responsibilities at home as well as it being Zak’s anniversary. But Cain doesn’t turn up to join Belle and Sam at Zak’s grave. Liam is the one who finds Cain drunk and alone in the garage. Cain refuses any help and sends Liam away. Kyle later shows his dad his man of the match trophy. But how will drunk Cain respond? What else happened in Emmerdale tonight, Friday October 10 It was high drama for the Kings and the Tates in Emmerdale tonight as the police turned up and revealed the real reason behind Carl and Lucas' fight. Belle and Kammy also had a rethink on their relationship. Clemmie and Carl in big trouble The police arrived looking for the Kings tonight and another team turned up at Home Farm. They all thought it was about the incident between Carl and Lucas, but in fact it was something far more serious than kids fighting. Carl has shared an indecent image of Clemmie. Both of them are in trouble as Clemmie took and sent the photo to Carl, who then passed it on to his mates. They then shared it with others and soon the whole school had seen it. Nicola and Jimmy fussed round insisting it must have been a mistake. But then Carl piped up and to their horror admitted: "I did it. I sent the picture of Clemmie." Nicola then looked up what would happen to Carl in this situation and realised how serious the situation was. She hotfooted it round to see Dawn and try to sort this out. But Nicola pushed the blame onto Clemmie and Dawn and Billy weren't impressed. They wanted the police to do the investigation. Dawn was insistent Carl needed to face the consequences of his actions. The police returned to the Kings and said they were going to interview Carl at the police station under caution. They took his phone as evidence. Nicola begged them to reconsider: "Please, he's just a little boy... don't ruin his life before it's even started." Belle and Kammy dumped each other Belle and Kammy had breakfast in the cafe after their night together and they were all smiles. But something was a bit off. Then as Belle left, Lewis jumped on to Kammy and wanted details, but Kammy's face said he wasn't happy. He confided that he really likes Belle, he enjoyed being intimate with her, but he didn't want a repeat performance. Lewis surmissed that he had mistook the thrill of the chase for attraction. He told Kammy he had to tell Belle the truth and ordered him to do it sooner rather than later. Kammy went to visit Belle and it turned out they were on the same page. They both weren't feeling it and wanted to stay great mates. So it's no happy ever after for these two, but at least there's no heartbreak either. For once. Also in Emmerdale tonight... Liam has been cleared by the CQC over John's actions. Chas was still giving Charity the cold shoulder over the baby. As they rowed again, Sarah caught them and wanted answers. Charity lied that she was trying to involve Chas in a tax dodge. Sarah bought it and gave her gran what-for, risking her freedom when she is pregnant with Sarah's baby.
