Putting our frustration to one side for the moment, there are multiple ways this could now go. We just hope it doesn’t drag on until Christmas as some people are concerned will be the case. So as theories swirl over what will happen next week – Emmerdale has revealed no spoilers to help us out – let’s take a look at how exactly John’s story may finally come to an end. John confessed everything (Credit: ITV) John Sugden – the story so far John Sugden, the half-brother of Victoria and Robert Sugden turned up a year ago. He quickly became involved with Aaron and all seemed good. However then he helped cover up Anthony Fox’s murder and very deftly hid the body. It was then revealed why: he is a killer. John takes people to the brink of death to then play the hero and save them again. Only sometimes it doesn’t work, like in the case of Nate Robinson. article continues below Read all the latest spoilers Last week he was holding Mackenzie captive in an underground bunker and drugging Aaron to keep him under control. But Aaron worked everything out and raced off this week to find Mack. He was caught by John who confessed everything. But upon seeing Robert, John pulled Aaron over a gorge to make sure no one could have him. Aaron has remained in a coma ever since with life-threatening injuries. John, meanwhile, has walked away with very minor after-affects. He’s framed Robert who’s been thrown back in prison and everyone thinks John is the victim. John didn’t die (Credit: ITV) John threatens Aaron in Emmerdale However on Thursday night (September 11), John knew if Aaron wakes up it’s game over for him. So he told Aaron it’s better if he doesn’t wake up. As the action picked up on Friday (September 12) we did not see Aaron or John at all. What we did get was Cain Dingle informing Victoria Sugden there was “no change” in how Aaron is. Which means John has not killed him. Yet. So what will happen next? Theories on how the John Sugden storyline will end Fans have their theories – some pretty plausible. But which will be the right outcome? John is planning to kill Aaron (Credit: ITV) 1. Aaron to have amnesia We’re not really here for this one and hope it is not the case! But what if Aaron wakes up and can’t remember a thing… “Aaron will probably have amnesia for months while John continues to manipulate everyone,” worried one fan on social media. Another added: “If Aaron gets to wake up what’s the betting he has amnesia for a while Then it’ll start to filter through then suddenly he’ll remember.” “Aaron will have amnesia and this will be dragged on until Christmas, I fear,” agreed a third. Aaron in a coma until Christmas Continuing the festive theme, much like John’s first love, Aidan Moore, who remains in a coma (why has no one thought about that coincidence yet, eh?), what if Aaron doesn’t wake up until Christmas? “I’m already calling it Aaron will be in a coma til Christmas and miraculously wake up on Xmas day and tell everyone about John,” one fan cried. No one believes Aaron Another thought is that Aaron might wake up and tell the truth about John – but no one believes him! “What’s the random bet that Aaron wakes up and tries to tell stupid Vic and [bleep] mummy dearest Chas that John did it, but they both try to convince him that Robert did it?” sighed one fan. Has Charity figured it out? (Credit: ITV) 4. John Sugden was overheard in Emmerdale and that will be his end Last night as John threatened comatose Aaron, he was startled by a noise. He turned and saw nothing, so carried on. But what if it was someone and that someone will bring about John’s downfall? “Someone has heard John whisper sweet death threats into Aaron’s ear, mark my words,” shared on viewer. Another added: “I’m hoping the noise John heard was thick Vic and she heard what he said and she tells the cops before John kills Aaron!” A third is convinced Charity is the one who heard: “Penny dropped for Charity after what Moira said in the pub, Charity went to the hospital when Lydia said she nipped out, Charity found John with Aaron and heard everything, she saves Mack end of next week. Cain slaps him start of following week.” However it ends, it had better be soon – this week has been brilliant, but we can’t take much more! What else happened in Emmerdale tonight - Friday September 12 It wasn't really about Aaron and John in Emmerdale tonight, the action was more focused on Kammy and Vinny... Kammy tried to help Vinny - and failed After finding out what had really happened with Vinny and Mike, Kammy wanted to put it right. He signed up for the forum and arranged to meet with Mike. He then tried to delete the videos Mike had of Vinny, but Mike caught him. Mike then demanded another £10k off Vinny or else he would tell Gabby everything. Poor Kammy was only trying to help, but how will Vinny get out of this one? Gabby's wedding woes in Emmerdale tonight With no word from either Kim or Bernice, Gabby was feeling low about having no family at her wedding. Then Kim waltzed back in and Gabby had hope. But Queen Kim confirmed she wasn't attending due to Gabby's betrayal over Moira. Laurel gave Kim what-for, but ended up injuring her ankle in the process. Have her words softened Kim's stance? Victoria the outcast Throwing herself into work, Victoria went to see Cain and Moira with some farming plans. But they gave her short shrift and cut all ties with the Sugdens. Vic tried to insist she wasn't to blame, but Moira stood firm: this is her farm and she'll find a way to pay Vic back, but she didn't want her working there. Matty the hero in Emmerdale tonight One Barton who didn't turn their back on Vic or Robert was Matty. He took a call from Robert who begged him to get Victoria to see sense. Although Matty still doesn't know the whole truth, he did encourage Vic to hear Robert out. He asserted he'd been in prison and no one believed he was innocent, so what if it's the same situation.
