Aaron has ended things after Robert’s betrayl and spoilers show this really could be it for good when Aaron learns another horrifying truth. Has Kev finally put the nail in the coffin for Robron? Can they ever come back from this? Kev and Robert’s closeness was exposed (Credit: ITV) What happened in Emmerdale tonight As Robert continued to juggle his double life, things fell apart when Kev decided he was ready to come out in public. He gifted Robert a watch and then kissed him in the Woolpack beer garden. Robert was taken aback and then horrified when he realised Aaron had seen everything. Robert chased after Aaron and tried to explain. He told Aaron everything – how Kev is dying, he is scary and only Robert can control him and how he will inherit £250k if he stays with him until the end. Aaron felt no sympathy and told him the money didn’t matter. He gave Robert a choice: end it now or they were over for good. article continues below Read all the latest spoilers Fortunately, Robert chose the former and headed off to finish his marriage. But Kev was in a rage when Robert arrived, thinking Robert had skipped out on him because of their public kiss. Robert tried to calm him down and then things went quiet – Kev had suffered a heart attack. Robert got him to hospital where they operated and saved his life. Aaron had heard about the ambulance and immediately thought violent Kev had hurt Robert. He raced to hospital, only to find a tearful Robert saying he couldn’t finish it. Robert admitted he did have feelings for Kev other than fear and Aaron was crushed. “I did love him, once. Maybe I still do,” he said. But he insisted: “You’re the one I want to spend the rest of my life with. You’re the one I want to be with.” Aaron told him if that was the case he needed to go in and end it with Kev right now. “I can’t do it,” Robert pleaded with him. “That’s all I need to know,” Aaron said and walked away. Robert has really betrayed Aaron this time (Credit: ITV) Are Robert and Aaron over for good in Emmerdale as more heartbreak hits next week? It’s not looking good for the newly reunited couple. So is this one betrayal too far? Tomorrow night (Friday October 24) things take another turn for the boys and Aaron ends up leaving. He returns home next week and Chas insists he apologise to Vinny. What has he done to poor Vinny? Meanwhile, Kev is fuming with Aaron outing his marriage and his anger is about to boil over. The most heartbreaking moment of all comes in the Woolpack later when it becomes clear Robert has told Kev about Aaron’s abuse by his dad, Gordon. Aaron is utterly devastated and Chas comforts her son over the betrayal. This could be one step too far – how could Robert have done this? And is there any coming back for Aaron and Robert after this? Later in the week, Kev delivers a chilling death threat to Aaron if Aaron doesn’t leave him and Robert alone. Robert is horrified to hear about the threats, but Kev manages to make it right. Aaron confides in Mack everything he is going through and Mack takes it upon himself to talk to Kev.
