John currently has Mack chained up in an underground bunker and has his phone in his possession. Seeing a voice message from Aaron on Mack’s phone, John couldn’t resist pressing play. As Aaron questioned Mack’s whereabouts, he soon moved on to the drama in his own life and inadvertently revealed all about cheating with Robert to John. “I don’t know if I’m doing the right thing moving away, you know,” Aaron said. “I don’t know if I’m doing the right thing being with John at all. But let’s be honest, I wouldn’t have slept with Robert if I was sure about all that, would I?” John’s face turned to one of fury. What will he do next? Seeing how unbalanced John is, Aaron tries to convince John to take him to Mack. But when Robert arrives, John makes the decision to call the police and frame Robert for his crimes. John then grabs Aaron and jumps into the gorge. Robert is shocked as he looks over the edge and sees Aaron and John motionless. John then tried to force Mack into recording a message for Charity saying he wasn't coming back. But Mack refused to do it. Charity was devastated over Mack's announcement in Emmerdale tonight John decided he didn't need Mack and took matters into his own hands. Using Mack's old voice notes on his phone along with AI, John was able to put a convincing message together.
