Vinny Dingle has been struggling with his sexuality lately after he became confused over his feelings for close friend Kammy. Trying to make sense of everything, Vinny reached out to an online support group. From there, he connected with Mike, who Vinny believed was going through the same thing as him. However, tonight’s scenes showed that not to be the case as Mike attacked Vinny before stealing from him. With things falling apart for Vinny, here’s 5 hints that his wedding to Gabby Thomas won’t go ahead as planned. Mike looked happy as he destroyed the picture and mocked Vinny and his ‘happy little family.’ This is obviously not a good omen going forward and symbolises Vinny’s future with Gabby being erased. Mike played Vinny a recording of his confession (Credit: ITV) Mike’s blackmail threats Mike revealed that his name wasn’t really Mike – but stopped short of sharing his real identity. He also said he only told Vinny what he knew Vinny wanted to hear and laughed at him for following the trail of poison he’d laid down. As Mike shared that this wasn’t his first rodeo, he demanded Vinny give him access to his banking app. He played back a recording of Vinny revealing that he had initiated things with Kammy and had thought about what would happen had Kammy kissed him back. Vinny allowed Mike to transfer £10,000 to himself. But Mike could decide to play the recording to Gabby anyway, which would certainly put a stop to the wedding. Vinny and Gabby’s wedding is fast approaching (Credit: ITV) Gabby’s relationship history While Gabby is in full wedding planning mode, her relationship history hints that she won’t get her happy ever after. She had a baby with Jamie Tate, who disappeared, never to be seen again. She then became engaged to Nicky Miligan, but it was all just a ploy so Nicky’s dad Caleb could get his hands on the Tate fortune. Nicky developed a guilty conscience and revealed to Gabby, on what should have been their wedding day, that he was in fact gay. With Vinny’s confusion over his sexuality and his and Gabby’s wedding day fast approaching, there is a chance that history could repeat itself. Mike stole Vinny and Gabby’s rings (Credit: ITV) Vinny and Gabby wedding rings stolen in Emmerdale It’s never a good omen when the wedding rings go missing – or in this case stolen – and could be a sign that the wedding shouldn’t be going ahead. Mike was curious to know: “What’s the going rate for rinsing a sap like you?” Not happy with rinsing Vinny’s bank account, he decided he was owed the rings too. Mike claimed he was doing Vinny a favour before telling him that Gabby deserved better. With Vinny believing that to be the case too, will he call off the wedding? Vinny had flashbacks to his past (Credit: ITV) Vinny’s confidence suffers a beating After Mike had delivered his beating and left the house, Vinny changed his clothes and took a look in the mirror. He broke down as a flashback of Vinny and his abusive dad Paul Ashdale was shown. In the clip, Paul told his son: “When I was a kid and I did summat wrong, my dad would let me know I’d done something wrong, yeah? And I learned my lesson pretty quickly. You’re a slow learner Vinny but this is a lesson you’ll never forget.” Paul then beat Vinny, with the present day Vinny breaking down in tears. In Emmerdale tonight, Vinny and Mike took centre stage as Mike spun a yarn about his partner kicking him out after discovering messages on his phone. After admitting he'd spun Vinny a yarn, he labelled himself an 'Alpha' and Vinny a 'Beta' and dished out a kicking. But that wasn't the only drama in the Dales. Here's what else happened in Emmerdale tonight. Ruby insulted Manpreet some more Ruby was furious at having been arrested and told the duty officer that her husband played golf with the superintendent. As the officer released the two women, he told them he didn't want a repeat. Ruby then quipped: "I will never slap that slapper again." She then called Manpreet a cab, telling the call handler to 'tell the driver to look out for Hagrid’s older sister.' Ruby and Manpreet bonded When Ruby brought up the fact that Manpreet shares DNA with a serial killer, Manpreet retaliated by claiming Ruby's dad had run for the hills to get away from her. When Manpreet ignored Ruby's advice to 'shut up,' Ruby blurted out that her dad had raped her. Manpreet's tone softened and she shared her experience of abuse from a doctor's point of view and encouraged Ruby to seek some kind of therapy for an 'outside voice.' Manpreet even offered to be the outside voice herself. The two women hugged as Ruby cancelled Manpreet's cab and offered her a lift home instead. Gabby plotted with Charles Gabby headed to see vicar Charles to talk to him about the wedding. The conversation was rather cloak and dagger, with it not being clear what she had asked him to do. However, Charles agreed to be extra careful especially as he knows what it is like to have a complicated relationship with his dad. Charles encouraged Gabby to tell Vinny he is a good man and will make a great father. Gabby mysteriously responded that she might be telling Vinny just that pretty soon, as she has a 'little surprise in store.'
