But things look set to get even worse. The Tate’s and King’s were shocked to discover that Carl King had shared an indecent image of Clemmie to his group chat. And Nicola and Jimmy were horrified to realise it could come with a custodial sentence. But as Clemmie opened up to Dawn on why she took the photo, Dawn decided to go put things right with the King’s. However, Nicola’s own behaviour soon put a pin in that plan… Dawn refuses to go easy on Carl after Nicola’s comments (Credit: ITV) Nicola and Dawn are at war over their kids in Emmerdale In tonight’s visit to Emmerdale (October 13) Nicola tried to remain positive that the whole situation would just blow over. But not everyone thinks that way. At the police station, Carl admitted to forwarding the photo of Clemmie, telling the officers he was dared to do it. And that they always send things into the group chat. But Nicola’s concerned to hear that things could go further and social services could get involved. article continues below Read all the latest spoilers Clemmie then tried to get her phone back from Dawn, who refused. But Dawn’s shocked when Clemmie told her she wants to apologise to Carl. She told Dawn she sent the photo because she thought it would make Carl like her. And that she knows Dawn and her own mum had to do things like that. Dawn was heartbroken to hear the reason and tried to make Clemmie see that she never has to do anything like that. She then headed to see Nicola and Jimmy, believing she had been too hard on Carl. But when she arrived, Nicola very quickly told her it was her fault, throwing her past in her face. Dawn backtracks, telling them she hopes Carl gets everything that’s coming to him. Nicola’s struggles continue (Credit: ITV) What happens next for the Clemmie and Carl storyline? Emmerdale spoilers show that Laurel tries to console Nicola, but soon leaves her shocked with her own admission. Nicola continues to spiral over the whole situation. But the pair then realise how out of touch they are with their children’s online presence and are determined to do something about it. While Nicola’s freaking out, Dawn is quite frustrated herself, as the school isn’t showing a lot of support. This leads to Joe giving Dawn a suggestion – which only brings conflict. Dawn later finds herself opening up to Joe about her past, telling him how she was coerced into sex work and drug addiction. And recalls how she met Clemmie’s mum, determined to protect Clemmie from the online world.
