What happened in Emmerdale tonight: Dylan's terrible plan, Kerry's bizarre behaviour and Aaron's upset

April and Dylan are risking everything

Emmerdale tonight was full of people making silly decisions as Dylan decided to steal from Ray and Kerry decided not to be honest with Jai.

Things are getting somewhat repetitive. It’s clear these things will lead to more drama that we’re not sure we need! Here’s our rundown of Emmerdale tonight.

Dylan robbed Ray

April was not happy when Ray told her he had a job for her. He assured her it was a nice guy who wouldn’t want anything weird, but April was still uneasy about the whole thing.

She tried to talk to Dylan ab0ut her concerns, and said she wasn’t sure Ray was on their side, but after that chickened out. Dylan himself was also worried about finding Ray’s bag. He managed to break into Vinny’s house to look for it. But later told Ray he’d come up empty handed.

Ray was furious and beared his teeth. Dylan was slightly taken aback, having always thought Ray was an ally. But he realised April could be on to something about their boss (it’s taken him long enough!) Instead he told April he had a plan to run away together.

He had in fact found Ray’s bag and pocketed the money to set them up in a new life. April was worried what Ray would do to them and their loved ones if they went through with it. Dylan decided that was reason enough to get moving asap. But that sounds like a terrible plan to us…

Jai fires Kerry in Emmerdale

Kerry lied to Jai in Emmerdale tonight

The coroner’s report into the limo crash was due so Kerry was late for work and then rushed off to read it with Matty and Jacob. She got Billy to cover for her, but when she started drinking Champagne in the shop and Jai caught her, it was game over.

Weirdly, she didn’t tell him exactly why she’d skipped out of work. So he fired her.

It seems a bit ‘because plot’ because if she had explained maybe he would have found his heart and been understanding. Even so, we know where this is leading as Kerry and Jai are soon to find they can’t resist each other!

Kev, Aaron and Robert didn’t excite

After Kev’s threats to Aaron, hurt Aaron bumps into Robert in the cafe and tells him what’s happened. Robert was stroppy with Kev, who talked him round.

Then when Aaron arrived at the pub, Kev played it all down, Aaron was stroppy and Robert sulked a bit more.

It’s all getting a bit tedious, and we need Robert’s standalone episode sooner rather than later to understand this some more or else we’re going to lose interest.
