There has been so much to pack in though, let’s start with what we loved. John lost it this week and we loved it (Credit: ITV) Things we loved in Emmerdale this week Basically this bit is all about the John Sugden chaos. We loved all of it! John Sugden is rivalling Meena Jutla for his craziness and we love it! Yes, it’s far-fetched and a bit ridiculous, but why not? Let’s lean into it and go with it as it reaches it’s end. This week John has played the hero saving Mack, while still keeping him locked up, recaptured him after Mack’s escape and now we don’t know where he is. article continues below Read all the latest spoilers John has also found out about Aaron cheating with Robert and drugged his husband to keep control. In turn Aaron has discovered John has done something to Mack and is poisoning him. Phew! The epsiode during which is all culminated was like a horror movie. Racing through the woods, the cinematography was brilliant and the performances of Danny Miller, Lawrence Robb and Oliver Farnworth were great, well done boys. Yes, there’s lots of things about Emmerdale this week that just haven’t added up, but that aside, it’s been brilliant. Things we did not love in Emmerdale this week On the flip side there were some things we could have done without if we’re being honest… Give us a break on this one please (Credit: ITV) April, Ray and the drugs Given what else has happened since this, it’s hard to believe this was only this week. But April was threatened at knifepoint during a drug drop. Of course, it turned out Ray was behind the whole thing and now April and Dylan are indebted to him. Sigh. This storyline is becoming boring and needs wrapping up asap. Love Dylan, love April, even quite like Ray, but do not love or even like the storyline. We’re finding it really hard to care if we’re honest. Paddy makes a horrifying discovery (Credit: ITV) Paddy We know Paddy is a bit of a bumbling fool, but how stupid can he be not to recognise John’s voice? On the other hand we did love him standing up to Chas who needs to get over herself with this whole Dylan thing. Tracy knows the truth and no one cares (Credit: ITV) No one listening to Tracy SHE’S RIGHT! She has worked out something has happened to Mack in the same way it did to Nate.
