The episode largely focuses on Leo accidentally taking one of April’s pills that she is dealing for Ray as well as Vinny testifying in court against his tormentor Mike/Graham. We also saw Robert visit his husband Kev in prison. April realises she almost killed Leo (Credit: ITV) April makes a huge mistake that puts Leo’s life on the line For weeks April has been slipping further and further under Ray’s spell. He now has her dealing drugs so she can pay off her ‘debt’ to him – a debt he orchestrated by getting one of his cronies to mug April and take the drugs she was dropping off for him. Despite Dylan trying to get her out of it, Ray has piled on the emotional blackmail to keep her in line. On Thursday she is asked to look after brother Leo. But detective Gabby knows something is up with her new husband and follows him there. She enters the courtroom just as Vinny is admitting he met Mike on a forum for people struggling with their sexuality. Vinny and Gabby lock eyes, but will he be able to carry on and see justice served? How will Kev react to Robert’s news?
