It’s been a dramatic lot of months on Emmerdale, and in recent weeks the drama has well and truly amped up. But with John Sugden’s secrets now out in the open, things don’t appear to be settling down anytime soon. Now that Victoria knows the truth about her half-brother, some fans think this will lead into a reunion with her other brother – the iconic Andy Sugden. So could Andy be headed back to the village? Nine years ago, in 2016, Andy left the village after going on the run from the police. He was wanted after Chrissie White framed him for the attempted murder of her father, Lawrence. In reality, her son, Lachlan, was behind it all, and Andy was trying to get someone to believe him. article continues below Read all the latest spoilers Shockingly, the only person to believe his story was his brother, Robert Sugden. The pair didn’t usually see eye-to-eye, but the second Andy needed Robert’s help, he was there for him. Robert got Andy a fake passport and helped his brother go on the run. Andy has not been seen on the show since, despite there being numerous storylines that he should have been involved in. Could both Robert and Andy return in 2025? He probably actually doesn’t even know he has another family member! Now that John’s secrets are out, and Victoria has realised she was favouring the wrong brother, many fans believe it won’t be long until Andy appears on our screens once again. And with the recent incredible returns like Robert Sugden, Ross Barton and Joe Tate, it wouldn’t be too surprising to see another thrown into the mix. Let’s also not forget that Andy’s daughter, Sarah Sugden, is currently having a baby via surrogate (well, we hope it’s Sarah’s!). So, it is a bit strange that neither of her parents have been there for her. Taking to X, one fan penned: “Andy’s return looms. I feel it in my bones. It will be the REAL Sugden siblings all back in business.” Another added: “It’s all I want right now.” “We have waited long enough. I’ll be shocked if we don’t get at least a short stint one of these days” a third commented.
