With Mack’s family worrying about his whereabouts, John decided he needed to send Charity a message from Mack in order to stop her going to the police and reporting him as a missing person. However, Mackenzie Boyd refused to play ball, so John used his laptop to put the message together himself. But fans have pointed out a problem with this. Paddy struggled to get a good WiFi signal (Credit: ITV) Fans point out gaping ‘plot hole’ For the last couple of months, John has been seeking advice from a helpline and unbeknown to him, his advisor has been none other than Paddy Kirk. John was close to outing himself to Paddy this week, but Paddy’s WiFi connection failed and he couldn’t hear what John was saying. Fans have pointed out how convenient that is… “Can someone explain to me how Paddy lost signal when he’s at home with wifi but John managed to have access to the best internet in an underground bunker in the middle of nowhere to use AI?” wrote one fan on X. “Perfect WiFi in the bunker. But dodgy signal right at the crucial moment,” agreed a second fan. A third fan asked: “What are the odds on perfect wifi coverage in an underground bunker in the middle of a forest?” While a fourth fan said: “A message for the Emmerdale producers, which WiFi provider is John with? The reception he gets is extraordinarily amazing ,unbelievably perfect reception even in a bunker buried underground in the middle of woodland, who’d have believed it?” Read more: Who’s leaving Emmerdale?
