And it’s really not looking good for him. For a while there has been a lot of speculation regarding Mack’s future on Emmerdale. And with actor Lawrence Robb traveling quite a lot, many fear he has already left the show. But it was last night’s (August 7) shock twist which has made many viewers believe this year will mark the end of Mackenzie Boyd. And while there are a lot of fans eager to see him depart, some fans would rather the show just broke him and Charity up, as they love him alone. Mack has been having issues with Charity (Credit: ITV) Emmerdale fans think Mack will die As Vanessa and Charity shared a shock kiss, Vanity fans can’t help but hope this is the beginning of their relationship coming back together. But Mack would ultimately be caught up in the drama. And fans think this will eventually lead to him dying, leaving Charity Dingle wrecked with guilt. article continues below Read all the latest spoilers They haven’t had the smoothest of relationships, as their marriage has already been rocked by cheating scandals – usually it’s by Mack. So it’s not really a surprise that fans are hoping for the end of Mack and Charity. But will he die in the process? Taking to a Reddit thread, one fan wrote: “Mack is definitely dying. Charity will have an affair, John will be responsible for Mack’s death. Then Charity will be wrecked with guilt. Clears the way for them [Charity and Vanessa] to be together without the messy divorces.” Another agreed adding: “Am I surprised? No. But if Mack does now die, I don’t think it will be by John. I think John gets found out before Mack’s flash-forward.” We still have a flash-forward of Mack to see (Credit: ITV) What we know about Mack’s future on Emmerdale At the beginning of the year we saw a very ominous flash-forward of Mack running through the woods looking quite terrified. And that hasn’t happened yet. So while there may be some clues that Mack’s time in Emmerdale is coming to an end, we know he’s around until at least that flash-forward. So he’s safe for now. Spoilers for later in the year also revealed that Mack and Aaron will be involved in a “life-changing” storyline. One that required a whole new set to be built. While we have no confirmation of what exactly this storyline is, we do have a few ideas. It kicks off it the autumn, so we know Mack will definitely be around for then. So at this moment in time, we have no actual evidence to suggest he is leaving the show.
