Ella was wrongly accused of tampering with Chas’s medication, amongst other things – with John being revealed as the real culprit. Ella Forster arrived in the village for a new start in 2024 and initially things went well when she landed a job at the surgery and briefly dated Dr Liam. However, the truth about her killing her childhood best friend when they had been 11 was soon revealed to all. article continues below Read all the latest spoilers With that kind of past, Ella became an easy target to blame for other crimes. After Chas’s ring was found in her possession, Ella was accused of messing with Chas’s medication, causing Chas to collapse. Ella was also accused of throwing a brick through the window of The Woolpack and sending at email to Belle supposedly from Liam cancelling his wedding to Chas. She of courses denied all the accusations, with John recently admitting to Mack and Aaron that he was the one responsible for drugging Chas and turning everyone against Ella. Ella had been so determined to prove her innocence that she did wander onto the erratic side. She held Mandy hostage with a knife and was then involved in a scuffle with Liam. Ella’s last scene saw her being locked up in a police cell, leaving fans outraged. Viewers want vindication for Ella (Credit: ITV) Fans demand justice for Ella in Emmerdale Now that the truth about John’s secret life is coming out, fans are demanding justice for Ella. “I need Ella to come back and finish off this storyline because it started with her being set up by John and I need her to be so smug saying I told you so, the way Chas and Liam treated her was not on,” wrote one fan on X. Another fan said: “Justice for Ella please.” While a third fan added: “So does this mean we can have Ella back please?” “Will everyone apologise to Ella when they catch John?” A fourth fan wanted to know. “Okay, who else wants Ella to come back (they clearly didn’t know what to do with a great actress & interesting character),” a fifth fan said.
