Since arriving in the village back in 2018, Billy has been prominent in many huge storylines over the years. But recently his character just hasn’t been on the screen. Ever since the soap split Billy and Dawn up, there hasn’t been anything else going on for him. Fans have been wondering where Billy is (Credit: ITV) Billy hasn’t been seen in a while Earlier this year Billy and Dawn were thrown apart when she embarked on an affair with recently-returned Joe Tate. While it was very back-and-forth for quite some time, Dawn ultimately decided it was Joe she wanted. article continues below Read all the latest spoilers Once they split, Billy and Dawn couldn’t quite see eye-to-eye, with Billy even trying to get Dawn to pretend to be with him for the sake of their children. In the end, Billy realised blackmailing Dawn and trying to take the kids from her wasn’t the best decision. And the pair agreed to be as amicable as possible. But since then, despite numerous ways to keep him on the show, Billy has basically vanished from Emmerdale. And is only referenced when someone says he is looking after the kids. Billy and Dawn split earlier this year (Credit: ITV) Emmerdale fans want ‘justice’ for his character Taking to Reddit, fans discussed where Billy is, and even wondered if the show was just done with him – especially with the reported cast cuts in soaps. One fan wrote: “Has Emmerdale just given up on Billy? He seems to just not be in it all now and doesn’t even get mentioned anymore either. I also don’t really know where his story can go. I have a feeling he will end up being written out.” Shockingly, another responded: “I genuinely completely forgot about Billy!” “Whether you like Billy or not, it is unfair how the writers have treated him since the affair. Dawn cheats on him and is still with Joe, wealthier now with him and they get more screen-time. While Billy is living in who knows where, single and has disappeared” a third added.
