In a dramatic twist of fate, it turns out that despite showing up in the village to stop Aaron’s wedding to John, Robert is actually ALSO married to someone else. While Kev may have told Robert that he only has months to live, some Emmerdale fans believe they spotted worrying signs that the prisoner will actually turn violent on Robert. And they’re thinking it could get bad for Robert as soon as Kev finds out about Aaron. Fans didn’t think Robert looked too happy Kev was there (Credit: ITV) Robert is married to Kev in Emmerdale Robert Sugden got a shock when he opened his front door to find Kev standing there. After quickly bringing him inside, it was revealed that the pair were married. While we still don’t know the full story of their relationship, we know Kev gave Robert protection and safety after he was targeted and attacked in prison. And we also know Kev is inside for armed robbery – and his sentence is so bad that they don’t usually let him have day releases. article continues below Read all the latest spoilers However, this was an extreme circumstance, as Kev revealed he actually only has six months left to live at the most. And while Robert did seem shaken by this news, some fans couldn’t help but think Kev is actually another baddie. During their chat tonight, Kev kept flicking his wrist with a rubber band, which was clearly to stop him from from his violent impulses. And when he heard Robert had been set-up by John, he was instantly wanting to take revenge. Not only that, but Kev seemed confused as to why Robert didn’t want to head upstairs, even questioning if there was “anybody else” sleeping in his half of the bed. So now, fans are obviously concerned about what will happen if Kev discovers the truth about Robert’s love for Aaron. And so, they are all afraid of what Kev will do when the truth is revealed. Especially since they already think he may kill John. One wrote on Reddit: “I could be wrong but after watching I don’t think it’s just about Kev’s money. I don’t think Kev is the kind of guy you divorce and survive divorcing. He clearly was not bluffing at all when he said he would take care of John. “I think Kev is well connected enough that if Robert tried divorcing him, then Kev would have him taken care off too.” Another added on X: “Kev has got psychotic written all over him. He is possessive, intense and has been put in solitary confinement for extreme violence. So how is going to react when he learns Robert has been in love with Aaron for ten years? Not good.” “Oh this is bad. I have just finished the episode and I am scared for Rob. Kev seems very scary” another penned. What the future holds for Robert and Kev remains to be seen.
