Emmerdale fans still concerned about one burning detail in Mack trapped storyline

They need answers!

Mack has been at the mercy of John Sugden in Emmerdale for weeks now and this week on screen, we have yet to see him at all. And fans are worried sick.

But the question is not so much how has he survived this long (if, indeed, he has), but how is he going to the toilet?

It’s one fans have asked before, but at least John was visiting him daily then so we could use our imaginations. But now Mackenzie has been alone for a long time while John and Aaron have been in hospital.

So just what is he doing about his toilet needs?

Mack held captive by John

Last month, John offered to give Mack a lift to the station. While alone in the van, Mack discovered a photo which linked John to Nate Robinson’s death.

As the awkward drive got underway, it soon became evident that John knew Mack had cottoned on to the truth. After stopping the van, a cat and mouse chase took place in the woods.

John hunted Mack down and show him with a crossbow before bringing a rock down on his head.

It was thought Mack was dead, but it was soon revealed that he was alive and being kept in a bunker in the woods, with the hatch being hidden by leaves.

John had returned to the bunker frequently to check up on Mack, who was chained up. But last week, John was caught out by Aaron and had to act fast.

He visited Mackenzie and gave him a syringe to end his own life. John did not want to kill him, but said he wouldn’t be back again. instead Mack had the option to finish it himself if he couldn’t cope any more.

Crazed John then pulled Aaron over a cliff explaining if they couldn’t be together no one else could have him. John survived the fall and is playing the victim, but Aaron has remained in a coma since, unable to reveal exactly what has happened to Mack.

Fans question how Mack goes to the toilet

Since then, we’ve only briefly seen Mack shouting and howling to get out of the bunker, but do not know what has become of him since.

In addition to Mack’s desperation to survive, fans are still really worried about his desperation in another sense! They have expressed their concerns about him going to the toilet once again!

Writing on Emmerdale Insider’s Facebook page, one said: “He must be desperate for the toilet.” Another replied: “I was thinking that too!”

Someone else then pointed out: “And he hasn’t eaten or drank for over a week since John has been in hospital.”

Others on X agreed: “How are they going to find him? He surely can’t last any longer. He’s overcome such terrible injuries, is starving and desperately needs the loo.”

“Can Mack really survive four weeks in a bunker with no food, drink or toilet facilities. Also being drugged and injured. This could be the most ludicrous storyline in Emmerdale yet! Also John’s lame attempt to cut off Aaron’s oxygen supply. Pathetic!” someone else said,

Another added: “The first thing that Mack will do when he gets out of the bunker, is go find a toilet, he must be fit to burst.”
