Sarah is currently involved in a baby plot, with her grandmother Charity Dingle agreeing to be a surrogate for her. However, in a shocking twist, Sarah doesn’t know that Charity is actually carrying Ross’s baby. But fans are begging for her to find out. Her life limiting condition – Fanconi anemia – has led to her wanting to have a baby asap as she doesn’t know how long she’ll live for. Jacob agreed to be the father of Sarah’s child and she planned to start IVF treatment. But Sarah’s condition means she is at increased risk of cancer and she was diagnosed with cervical cancer. article continues below Read all the latest spoilers Sarah had an operation, but it unfortunately didn’t go to plan. A doctor delivered the devastating news that they had to perform an emergency hysterectomy. This meant Sarah would no longer be able to carry her own baby. Initially heartbroken, her baby dream was soon back on track when Charity offered to be a surrogate. Charity, Sarah and Jacob were delighted when the embryo transfer was immediately successful – or so they thought. It turns out Charity had a one night stand with Ross Barton and, following a test, she discovered the baby was actually hers and Ross’s. Charity initially booked an abortion, but now she is considering continuing with the pregnancy. At the moment, Chas Dingle is the only other person who knows the truth. She has been urging Charity to be honest with Sarah – and fans agree. This has annoyed fans, who are sick of her mentioning the baby so much. One fan wrote on Reddit: “Is it just me or is Sarah absolutely insufferable? If she mentions ‘my baby’ one more time I will scream. She is so annoying.” A second fan said: “I agree Sarah is annoying as hell. My baby this my baby that it’s beyond obsession at this point and who goes out and buys a pram and baby clothes before the fetus is even 3 months old ? She’s selfish and smug and gets on my wick.” “She’s obviously so excited about the baby but she seems to think she can stick her nose into everything that Charity so much as thinks,” added a third fan. With a fourth fan writing: “When the truth comes out about Charity and Ross, I will find it hard to have any sympathy for her.” Another angry fan wrote: : “She really annoyed me with her comments about adoption. I hope she finds out the baby isn’t biologically hers!” Another fan added: “Honestly surprised that Charity didn’t blurt out the truth tonight when being subjected to Sarah being sanctimonious and smug and interfering for what feels like the hundredth time. Charity may be her surrogate but she doesn’t own her.” So while Sarah’s dream could be shattered at any moment with the truth, Emmerdale fans aren’t too sympathetic with her!
