Over the last few months, Vinny has been struggling with his sexuality but keeping it all a secret from Gabby. But she had her own secret. When she was visiting Bernice, she cheated on Vinny. In the end the pair got married and then Gabby discovered the truth. Despite the initial shock, Gabby and Vinny spoke to Charles and agreed to make their marriage work because they love each other. And when he left it at home, she went through it. Completely misunderstanding the texts, Gabby jumped to conclusions that just weren’t there. Naturally, Vinny was confused, considering they had agreed to make things work. But adamant that they can’t be together, Gabby officially ended her relationship with Vinny, leaving him absolutely heartbroken. However, Gabby found herself worrying about Vinny living alone. And so Kim took it upon herself to find him some new housemates – Ross and Lewis. Ever since Vinny began struggling, many fans had theorised a romance could be on the cards for him and Lewis. And now that they are living together, it looks even more possible. But Emmerdale fans couldn’t help but be disappointed with how rushed everything felt with Vinny and Gabby. Seriously. Either I am a fool or missed an episode. But how did it go from Gabby being determined to work past her trust issues to her tearfully saying she loves him to her slamming rings down on the table?” Another agreed: “It was very rushed.
