Shock scenes saw Celia being revealed as the mastermind behind Ray’s drug ring after she turned on April and threatened her life. Super villain Celia is going to be at the centre of the soap’s County Lines storyline. She has Ray, April and Dylan all under her control. Then it transpired that Celia was in cahoots with Kim and Joe Tate to get hold of Moira’s land. One minute she was consoling April over Leo’s accidental drug overdose, next she was slapping her across the face and revealing herself to be Ray’s boss. Celia issued a threat to April, warning her of the deadly consequences if she told the police the truth. It was truly terrifying stuff – even Ray, who everyone thought was controlling the operation was scared. He was cowering in front of Celia, the woman he’s called ‘mum’ since she rescued him from a life on the streets.
