And Robert heartbreakingly had to watch the whole thing. Despite giving us a jam-packed episode, we have been left with quite a few questions. And with the soap not on tomorrow because of football, we are left waiting for answers. So, with still a lot more drama to air this week, let’s have a look at the questions we still need answered. It’s not looking good for Aaron (Credit: ITV) 1. Do Aaron and John die in Emmerdale? Probably the biggest question we need answering, is the fate of Aaron Dingle (And John). John took Aaron over the cliff as Robert watched on in horror. But with both men lying motionless at the bottom, their fate remains unknown. And we know Danny Miller has recently welcomed his third baby – she he does have paternity leave to take. article continues below Read all the latest spoilers Fans were torn on whether or not they wanted John to die. But if he stays alive, he could easily bring them all down regarding Anthony – so has John died? The police believe Robert pushed Aaron and John (Credit: ITV) 2. Does Robert go back to prison? Another huge worry for us and for him is if Robert is about to find himself back behind bars. Right before he jumped, John staged a phone call to the police, acting as though Robert was trying to push them both off. So, it’s not too surprising that Emmerdale spoilers already show that Robert is taken in for questioning as police believe he was the one responsible for the whole ordeal. With no other witnesses, will Robert find himself behind bars yet again? 3. Will anyone believe Robert? Speaking of Robert, he overheard Aaron and John’s conversation. So he knows that John has done something to Mackenzie, and that he 100% killed Nate. But with most of the village of team John, will anyone actually believe him? Paddy had been the one to first alert Robert to the possibility of john’s mental health not being the best. And so we would assume that he would believe Robert’s side of events. And with Tracy adamant that Nate’s killer has done something to Mack and is closer to him than they thought, surely she would believe him too? So it doesn’t really add up that spoilers indicate Chas blames Robert. Because lets face it, in what world would Robert push Aaron off a cliff – it literally would never happen. So SOMEONE has to believe him. Is Mack going to make it out of the bunker? (Credit: ITV) 4. Will Mackenzie use the syringe John left him? John sinisterly left Mack a syringe of drugs strong enough to kill him once and for all. And told him that he would never be returning. This is obviously a very big concern because nobody actually knows where Mack is. And IF John has actually died, then will Mack use the drugs on himself? It remains unknown how long he’s going to be down there for, or if he will actually ever get out, so maybe he will eventually find everything too much (we hope not!). John, your time in the village may be over (Credit: ITV) 5. And is this finally the end of John Sugden’s reign of terror? Finally, the last huge question we have (for now) is could this actually be the end of John Sugden’s reign of terror in Emmerdale? He has killed Nate, poisoned Jacob, stalked Chas, kidnapped Mack, drugged Aaron, and so much more. But after what feels like a very long time – have we reached the end? If John is dead, then he won’t be killing again. And even if he is alive, he’ll now have quite a lot of things to answer for. So either way, it’s looking like Oliver Farnworth may be bidding goodbye to the village. And while he has done a phenomenal job – we can’t wait to see the end of John.
