Emmerdale star Danny Miller has appeared to ‘confirm’ that his character, Aaron Dingle, will feature in the upcoming Coronation Street crossover.

Earlier this year it was announced Emmerdale and Coronation Street were merging in a huge crossover special to mark the beginning of ITV’s new soap ‘power hour’ in 2026.

Details have been kept strictly quiet on what exactly will happen in the crossover. But it’s been confirmed that a huge stunt will take place. And following a few ‘clues’, fans have some ideas.

And now, it seems Emmerdale favourite Danny Miller will be featuring in the episode.

Corriedale is currently filming

Last week, Emmerdale and Coronation Street bosses revealed more details on the highly anticipated crossover episode. And announced it would be known as Corriedale.

The teams have embarked on a huge stunt that will have “everlasting consequences” for both soaps.

And the bosses confirmed that filming is currently underway. So whatever cast members are currently on set – they are most likely in the episode.

So, when Emmerdale star Danny Miller posted on his social media about his recent filming schedule, fans took this as ‘confirmation’ that Aaron Dingle is in the crossover episode.

Danny Miller teases ‘late night shoots’

Taking to his Instagram, Danny shared a photo of his wife Steph, up in the middle of the night with their children.

He penned a beautiful tribute to his wife’s love for their children, alongside the photo.

Danny wrote: “I walked in from work at 5am the other morning after a late night shoot to be met with this beautiful picture that I wanted to share.

“Albert had a nightmare and just wanted his Mummy – who was already breastfeeding Vincent. But still had the patience to read him a story and comfort him, whilst feeding our baby.”

Danny continued: “Suddenly, the cold and tiredness I felt from a night shoot was replaced by warmth and energy, family and love.

“I always have to check in every now and again when times are stressful and busy and this one simple moment I decided to capture reminded me exactly why I get up and go. And more importantly, how lucky I am to have Steph.”

Emmerdale fans go wild

While most of the comments on the post were gushing over Danny’s love for his wife, and their adorable family, some fans were focussed on the fact he is filming.

One wrote: “So Aaron is in the crossover then? Maybe it does centre around John’s return.”

Another wrote on X: “Danny mentioning he has been doing night shoots as the Corridale crossover is being filmed. Not to say Robron are going to be in it – but Robron are going to be in it.”

A third added: “Danny confirming for me that we will be getting Robron. It will be about them in the crossover episode. He is working overnight until 5am. And we’ve got the John poster. Oh this is going to be so good.”

Recently in an episode of Coronation Street, eagle-eyed viewers spotted a ‘Wanted’ poster for the one and only Mr John Sugden on the wall in the police station.

And with him currently being on the run – the crossover episode provides a great opportunity for his dramatic return.
