Piper the dog played a big role in the abuse storyline between Belle and Tom, with Belle’s beloved pet being poisoned and given away as part of Tom’s sick plan. But fans have noticed that since Belle was reunited with Piper, we’ve hardly seen the dog. Tom convinced Belle that Piper was dead (Credit: ITV) Tom’s abuse of Piper Tom King first came across Piper when her owner died. Her owner’s daughter didn’t want her so vet Tom took Piper in and gifted her to wife Belle Dingle. But seeing how much Belle loved Piper, abusive Tom used the dog against Belle. When Belle was away from the village seeking help for her mental health, Tom poisoned Piper, making the dog sick, in an attempt to get Belle to come running home. article continues below Read all the latest spoilers He then purposely knocked Piper over with his car, then pretended he’d found her injured in the road. Belle was devastated when Tom told her that Piper couldn’t be saved and that he had to put her down. It was later revealed that Piper was alive and evil Tom had had her rehomed. Belle was eventually reunited with Piper last Christmas. Viewers haven’t seen much of Piper since she was reunited with Belle (Credit: ITV) Fans want to know where Piper is in Emmerdale Piper returned briefly back in May when she was shown sitting on Clemmie’s lap. Fans were ecstatic to see the “legend” back, but she’s since disappeared again. Emmerdale viewers have now taken to social media to question where she’s gone. “Haven’t seen piper for a while,” wrote one fan, with another adding: “We never see wee Piper any more.” “What’s happened to Belle‘s fur baby?” A third fan wanted to know.
