Aside from her new ITV drama, Charley has said she has no plans to return to Emmerdale as Debbie. Many fans have been calling for a Debbie Dingle return recently, as her daughter Sarah had been going through a cancer diagnosis and now surrogacy to have a baby. But Emmerdale decided to give Debbie’s departure even more detail by revealing she had uprooted her life and moved to Australia with her new man. And so, any hopes of a return were dashed. In 2023, she said to whattowatch.com: “It felt like the right time for me personally to make that jump from Emmerdale. And I don’t have any regrets about it. “I am ambitious to push myself and it’s just about choosing the right projects from now on. It’s hard to say no to work, but I trust my agent and I trust the process. Hopefully, I have made some good choices so far.” While we miss her on Emmerdale, we can’t wait to see Charley Webb on our screens again!
