Lewis first made an appearance back in May and soon started asking half-brother Ross questions about his family. He quickly learned that he and Ross didn’t share the same dad. Ross admitted he didn’t know Lewis’s father and assumed their mum Emma met him during her time apart from James. Ever since, Lewis has searched for answers about his family. And after newcomer Kev arrived in the village last week, viewers are now wondering if he will turn out to be his dad. Could they be on to something? A gobsmacking twist last week revealed that newcomer Kev is in fact Robert’s secret husband. article continues below Read all the latest spoilers It turns out that Robert got hitched to Kev while he was behind bars. He later revealed to sister Victoria that he married Kev to save him from the abuse he was facing from fellow prisoners. Robert spent six years inside on a murder charge, and since returning to the village, has been experiencing nightmares and PTSD from his prison ordeal. He told Vic that he owes Kev his life, as marrying him put a stop to the prison hell Robert was experiencing. Although Kev remains behind bars for armed robbery, there’s another twist in the tale – Kev is terminally ill and doesn’t have long to live. As a result of this, Robert has no intention of divorcing Kev. He shared with Victoria that his gangster husband is really quite rich, and when he dies, he will inherit his fortune. One viewer said on social media: “Okay so Kev was last out in 2002. Lewis actor Bradley [Riches] was born 2001 so we can infer Lewis is about the same age. This has sealed it for me. Kev is Lewis’s dad.” Another replied: “I’ve been thinking this too. Which would mean Emma Barton having been in a relationship or affair with Kev.” “This makes perfect sense!
