Fans are fearing for Aaron following that dramatic cliff plunge and John’s subsequent threat on his life. This week’s Emmerdale has been well and truly dramatic. It has seen the beginning of the downfall of John Sugden (literally!). But in one last attempt at keeping control, John decided if he can’t have Aaron, then nobody can. And threw his arms around him and jumped off the cliff. With both men lying motionless on the ground, it looked quite bad. They were rushed to hospital where Aaron had surgery and was put in an induced coma. John’s injuries were less severe and he has woken up. That was when he delivered his threat to Aaron. But is this the end of Aaron? Here is everything we know about Danny Miller’s future on Emmerdale. Aaron Dingle is (finally) no longer in the dark over what his husband has done. article continues below Read all the latest spoilers But just as he found out, John’s insecurities over Aaron and Robert once again flared up, causing him to lash out and throw Aaron over the cliff with him. Now, fans are fearing if that means Aaron is leaving Emmerdale. One said on social media: “We can’t lose Aaron just as we get Robert back.” Another simply penned: “Aaron better survive.” Others have threatened to boycott the soap if Aaron does die. They told the soap he had better survive or they would switch off. And although he survived the death plunge, things still aren’t going his way. John has convinced everyone Robert Sugden did this to them. Robert, the only other person who also knows the truth about John, has been arrested and thrown back into jail. And Aaron still remains in an induced coma, unable to breathe on his own. Aaron’s state plays into John’s hands now as he is back in control. All he needs to do is ensure Aaron does not wake up. As he told him on Thursday night: “I still love you, but I think it’s better if you don’t wake up.” Although we don’t know if John will go through with his threat yet, it doesn’t fill us with hope that Aaron will survive! But as they usually try to remain hush about exits, that’s not too surprising. Danny has recently welcomed his third baby with wife Steph, so at some stage, he will be taking a short break for his paternity leave. Usually paternity leave is two weeks long. So two weeks away from filming would probably require some sort of explanation on screen for fans. We don’t know when Danny took his paternity leave, so we don’t really know when Aaron may be leaving. There has been no reports of him being killed off. But after this week’s episodes, it sure doesn’t look too good for him. But let’s face it, keeping Aaron around is definitely the smart thing to do, especially with the recent return of Robert. And now that Aaron knows the truth, there are numerous more opportunities to showcase the amazing emotional talent of Danny Miller. Because, let’s be honest, Aaron’s going to have quite a difficult time ahead… So, while there has been no official comment on Danny Miller’s future on Emmerdale, anything is possible in Soapland.
