Though it seemed at first like he wanted to save lives and look like the good guy, the murder of Nate Robinson eventually cemented his status as a villain. Fans have been eagerly awaiting his downfall for months now…could today’s episode have finally provided a crucial piece of evidence to get there? A surprise return brings fresh evidence in Emmerdale tonight Cain and Aaron told John that Ben had confirmed who killed Nate (Credit: ITV) Cain and Tracy were in for a shock tonight, as Ben, the removal man who took all of Nate’s possessions, returned to the village. After speaking to the police, he revealed that the ‘Nate’ he’d met up with was none other than Owen Michaels, John’s most recent victim. With Owen now dead, and a convenient ‘suicide note’ admitting what he’d done, all loose ends were tied up, and the Nate murder case was closed. Mack’s discovery could lead to John Sugden’s Emmerdale downfall Could Mack be about to reveal the truth? At the end of today’s episode, when looking through photographs in John’s van, one in particular stood out to him… A smiling photo of John, with his arm around another man, had the caption “John and Ben, Brothers in Arms.” Sound familiar?
