After April chose not to open up to her dad Marlon last night, the ITVX early release of Emmerdale today (Wednesday November 4) has revealed Ray forces her to exit the village. But then there’s another twist that may or may not come as a surprise to viewers. April almost confessed last night (Credit: ITV) Things have been bad for April April has been sucked deeper into Ray and Celia’s world after starting out dropping off drugs. That led to her supposedly getting into debt with them, then dealing drugs to pay it off. Now they want to sell her for sex. But April hasn’t been able to go through with it. Last week she tried to be with a client, Callum, but freaked out and hit him over the head with a bottle. April then phoned Ray who came to deal with the ‘body’. Terrified April knew there was no way out at all as Celia told her she now “owns her”. article continues below Read all the latest spoilers Last night (Tuesday November 4) April went to see her dad in a special standalone episode. Viewers breathed a sigh of relief as she opened up to him about all that was going on. Marlon insisted they go to the police and promised to protect her. But then Ray burst in and shot Marlon dead. Heartbroken April sobbed over the body, however the action then rewound and we saw it was all in April’s head. She had been imagining telling her dad everything and had seen what would happen if it did play out. April then knew she couldn’t confess anything, so left to deal with whatever Ray had planned for her next. Ray thinks April needs to forget about killing Callum (Credit: ITV) Emmerdale ITVX release confirms exit for April – but there’s a twist It turned out that next plan is a job in Newcastle. Ray tells April tonight that he thinks it’s best if she gets away from the village for a while. He tells her she needs to forget about killing Callum and move on. He also promises her the job is not sex-related, only drugs (only!) April agrees to go and tells Marlon she’s going to look at the uni there. He buys it, which is strange seeing as April rarely goes to school and no one seems to notice! However as April heads off to leave for a while, we then see Ray plotting something else. A shock twist will air right at the end of the episode that reveals another secret in the April storyline. We won’t ruin it for you, but it definitely could be interepreted as a good thing. We hope!
