Emmerdale’s early release episode on ITVX has confirmed where two characters we know to be missing really are – and it’s not good news for either of them. Paddy realises Bear isn’t in Ireland (Credit: ITV) Paddy realises Bear’s missing in Emmerdale tonight Earlier this year things hit rock bottom between Paddy and his dad Bear. Some very harsh words were exchanged as Bear was clearly in the midst of a breakdown. Bear then left after Paddy chucked him out and as far as Paddy knew he was staying with old wrestling buddies in Ireland. But viewers know differently because we saw Bear alone in the middle of nowhere, but definitely not in Ireland. We haven’t seen him since, but tonight Paddy receives a parcel for his dad. Mandy insists they open it as they haven’t heard from him since July. Inside is a letter from Gnasha, who Bear is supposed to be staying with. article continues below Read all the latest spoilers The letter confirms Bear never even went there at all. Panicking Paddy immediately calls round some of Bear’s other mates, but no one has seen or heard from him for months. Mandy is sure Bear is just in a sulk, punishing Paddy for throwing him out. But then Paddy points out Bear missed Eve’s birthday and there was no way he’d take it out on Eve over something Paddy did. Paddy decides to call the police, but can they shed any light on Bear’s disappearance? Ruby wanted to protect Anya, Caleb wanted her gone (Credit: ITV) Anya disappeared from the Miligans’ Meanwhile, last month, stowaway Anya was found in the back of one of Caleb’s vans at the depot. Despite him wanting her gone due to the legal ramificati0ns of hiding an illegal immigrant, Ruby took pity on her. Ruby brought her home, cleaned her up and fed her. She also got Dr Liam to come round and check her over. Ruby became quickly attached and Caleb was not happy. But Anya soon disappeared when she realised the position she had put them in. Ruby was distraught, worried sick about what would happen to her now. And it’s not good at all. Meanwhile, we’ll also find out what became of Anya after she fled. We won’t spoil where either of them are for those wanting to watch tonight, but their stories set up nicely for more drama next week. Can anyone help either of them?
