And it seems viewers already think he’s linked to another major story. Robert Sugden make his huge return to Emmerdale earlier this year by interrupting Aaron Dingle’s wedding to John Sugden. And since then, he has been on a mission to get Aaron back. But in a surprise twist, after the John Sugden drama was over, it was revealed Robert actually had a secret husband called Kev who he married while in prison. And now that Kev has made his appearance, fans can’t help but wonder if he is connected to another huge storyline. Kev made his arrival (Credit: ITV) Robert’s secret husband revealed Last week, Robert opened his door to find Kev standing there. Kev was then explained to be Robert’s husband. But he was out on day release to tell Robert that he only had six months to live. While, Robert was shocked at the news, he was nowhere near as shocked as Victoria was when she heard all about their relationship. article continues below Read all the latest spoilers Robert explained to his sister that he was attacked in prison and it was Kev who managed to save him. He offered him safety and protection and as a result the pair embarked on a relationship and ultimately got married. But now Kev is dying. And Robert is quite clearly in love with Aaron. So we can only imagine if and when Kev finds out they have reunited, things won’t be good. Is Kev another one of Celia’s ‘sons’? (Credit: ITV) Is Kev connected to Celia’s drug gang? Emmerdale fans don’t necessarily trust Kev yet. They know he has a violent streak – and he is inside for armed robbery. So, it’s only natural that they are going to be worried for Aaron Dingle. Taking to a Reddit thread, Emmerdale fans discussed where they see the Kev storyline going. And many of them wondered if he could be a part of Celia’s drug gang. One fan wrote: “Things I definitely see coming are Kev trying to kill Aaron and him already knowing about Robert and Aaron.” Another added: “I wouldn’t be surprised if he turns out to be another one of Celia’s ‘sons’. Maybe she turned her back on him when he went to prison.” A third agreed: “I think this is a real possibility. It would be a bit odd to have two separate groups of characters linked to organised crime in the show at the same time. “Kev doesn’t seem the type to cower like Ray. He looks more the type to full-on attack Celia. Maybe he will be involved her downfall.” Another was more concerned about him hurting Aaron or Robert. They added: “I think if he hurts anyone it will end up being Robert. Depending on what the character is like. He could try to hurt Aaron but Robert steps in.” What exactly comes next for Kev remains to be seen.
