Recent scenes have seen Liam Cavanaugh not be able to hold his bladder, a common side effect of prostate cancer. After much persuasion, Liam finally got tested, but the results came back negative. Now, Emmerdale fans are confused about what exactly is wrong with him. Claudette urged Liam to get checked out (Credit: ITV) Liam’s health troubles in Emmerdale Liam suffered with his problem in silence for a while, feeling too embarrassed to tell anyone what was going on. But he was forced to open up when Claudette caught him urinating at the allotment. Manpreet later caught her colleague doing a wee in the sink in his room at the surgery. She too pleaded with Liam to seek help, and this time she managed to get through to him. Liam went for a prostate cancer check and faced an anxious wait for the results. He eventually confided in partner Chas Dingle about his worries, and the pair were relieved when the test came back clear. Liam received his test results (Credit: ITV) What is wrong with Liam? During Monday’s episode, Liam received a message with his results. Chas nervously asked if it was cancer, with Liam revealing: “Not definitive, but it’s highly unlikely.” Liam shared that it’s good news but he’s not out of the woods yet as they “still have to work out why I’m spending more time in the little boys room at the moment than at my desk”. The results have left fans feeling baffled too as they are curious to know what is making Liam need to wee so much. “So what is wrong with Liam then?” asked one confused Emmerdale fan.
