Last week John pulled Aaron over a cliff, Robert was framed for the crime and taken to prison and Aaron lay in a coma fighting for his life. Meanwhile, Mackenzie lay trapped in a bunker slowly dying. But this week, Aaron has woken up and told everyone John is responsible and now the race is on to find dying Mack. And catch John and bring him to justice. We are so close to the end of John Sugden, but there are still some twists to come. Mainly because he is still on the loose. He no longer has anyone fooled though. Aaron knows what his husband is and has come round from his coma and told everyone. He was taken back to the cottage by Cain, who didn’t know the truth at that point. And now no villager – or police officer conveniently – has seen him. There is only one episode left this week, so will that see John caught and put in prison? Or will he continue to evade the authorities and get away? There’s also the small matter of Anthony’s body to wrap up. He’s the only one who knows where it is and he could hold that secret over the heads of the very people he’s hurt for a long time. Will he use this to get out of a prison stretch? Cain inadvertently helped John escape (Credit: ITV) Emmerdale fans fear John won’t be caught until Christmas Those watching at home have certainly had enough of the John storyline and want him to be caught out now. Watching the most recent episode, they have once again called for the soap to stop dragging the plot out. “For how much longer is this storyline going to be dragged out?” queried one on Emmerdale Insider’s Facebook page. Another added: “It’s getting boring now get rid of John and move on to another storyline please.” “For goodness sake let’s have an end to this ridiculous storyline please,” begged one more. “Really. Could this John saga get anymore ridiculous? Long passed its sell by date and bordering on ridiculous now,” said a fourth on social media. Others are very worried that he might not go exposed until Christmas. “John return for Christmas,” mused one. Taking to Reddit, another fan complained: “It’s gone on for too long and needs to come to a conclusion really soon.
