The aftermath of Mackenzie’s escape attempt On Thursday night (September 4) Mackenzie managed to escape from John’s underground bunker where he has been held for 13 days. Injured and barely able to move, Mack got outside and into the woods – where John then caught him again. But upon hearing Aaron shouting for help, John let Mack go to tend to his husband. article continues below Read all the latest spoilers He did hit Mack over the head with a brick to hopefully keep him unconscious, but it didn’t work. Mackenzie was later seen stumbling into a road, where he collapsed as a van approached. Begging the driver to help him save his friend, it was frustratingly John who stepped out, this time wielding an axe. So what became of Mack next? Has John finished him off for good? Or is he still keeping him alive? Aaron has been drugged in Emmerdale (Credit: ITV) 2. Aaron is vulnerable in Emmerdale spoilers With Aaron drugged due to John wanting to control him, he’s really not feeling well at all. After stumbling out into the woods and hearing Mackenzie, Aaron is convinced something has happened to his friend. But as John continues to manipulate the situation, Aaron starts to become fearful. Will Aaron work out exactly what is going on here? Paddy makes a horrifying discovery (Credit: ITV) 2. Paddy has a realisation in Emmerdale spoilers After speaking to John on the phone, but not realising it was John, Paddy is worried about whoever the person was on the other end of the line. Paddy has been volunteering at a crisis helpline for a while now and John has been speaking to him. But neither has been able to identify the other so far. And will Paddy realise the awful danger Aaron and Mackenzie are in? Or is it to do with something else entirely?
