Shaken by the close call, April tells Ray she’s done working for him. But the dealer isn’t prepared to let her go that easily. Swirling returns April back home (Credit: ITV) April gets caught out in Emmerdale spoilers Marlon and Rhona are delighted that April finally seems to be sorting her life out. But the couple have no clue she’s been skipping school to carry out risky drug runs for Ray. April and Dylan are in debt to the dealer after she was mugged at knifepoint. And Ray is going to make sure they work back the money she lost. As the week begins, April is at it again when she arrives at a car park to drop off a bag of gear. There she meets a young lad, but they’re not alone – PC Swirling is on patrol! The copper approaches April and she’s forced to lie about why she’s there. Swirling buys it and insists on giving April a lift back to the village, much to her horror. April lies to Rhona and PC Swirling (Credit: ITV) Rhona is confused when she sees a police car pull up outside Smithy and April get out. She demands to know what’s going on and April is forced to tell another lie. Will bosses Caleb and Jai give him a chance? Dylan has another anxious encounter when Ray voices his concerns about April. He’s found out about her run in with Swirling and wants assurance that she’s going to keep her mouth shut. Afterwards, Dylan discusses with April what went wrong with the drop-off and reveals that Ray has his doubts. April is furious and makes it clear she never even wanted to be involved in Ray’s dodgy business. However, Dylan tells her to stay focused on the endgame of them renting a flat together. April then runs away, leaving Dylan feeling guilty for pushing her. The young lovers are then summoned to a meeting with their employer in a layby and unite in their determination to talk Ray round. Plucky April stands firm and demands to know when their debt will be cleared. But then Ray changes tactic insisting he’s only interested in working with April from now on. There’s nothing Dylan can do as Ray drives April off in his car. Is she in over her head? And will Dylan risk his own safety by trying to save her?
