Ruby takes pity on ‘Anya’ and vows to help her. But is she inviting trouble into her home? Joe and Caleb get a surprise (Credit: ITV) Emmerdale spoilers: A newcomer arrives in the village In the moments leading up to Anya’s arrival, Joe is having a heated confrontation with Caleb at the Depot. Joe fears he could he in trouble with the law for accidentally running Jimmy over. Caleb was an eyewitness to the incident and knows it wasn’t done on purpose. But with so much bad blood between them, will Caleb agree to help his brother? The pair’s fight is soon interrupted by a sound coming from one of the nearby vans. Caleb and Joe go to investigate and discover a foreign lady hiding in the back amongst the boxes. Introducing herself as ‘Anya’, it’s clear the newcomer is a stowaway and very scared. But where has she come from? Caleb attempts to coax Anya out of the vehicle, but then Ruby arrives on the scene and is baffled by what she’s seeing. Moments later, the Depot descends into panic as the police arrive wanting to speak about Jimmy’s accident. Joe is determined to clear his name and heads out to greet them. She attempts to draw a line under it all, but Nicola stands firm in her mission to get justice for Jimmy. How far will she go to get one over on Joe? Ruby and Caleb try to figure out what to do with Anya (Credit: ITV) Ruby is conflicted over Anya in Emmerdale spoilers Later in the week, Ruby and Caleb welcome Anya into their home at The Mill. But then the couple are faced with the problem of what to do with her. Needing a professional opinion, Ruby asks GP Liam if he can pop by and check Anya over. He can see what a vulnerable state she’s in and advises Ruby to report Anya to the authorities. Will Ruby make that call? Or is she going to help to keep Anya hidden away?
