Mack is now home having miraculously escaped death, but Charity’s guilt over her one-night stand won’t go away. It’s not being made easier by Ross, who’s been on Charity’s case to get a DNA test. Last week, Charity finally bowed to pressure and underwent a medical test to determine if Ross is the baby daddy. Charity knows what’s at stake and is terrified of losing her family. If the baby does turn out to be her and Ross’s, it would destroy Sarah’s dreams and possibly end her marriage to Mack. Charity tries her hardest to put on a front and not let Sarah know what’s troubling her. But while she may have Sarah fooled, Mack can see Charity isn’t being honest. Mack queries his wife’s behaviour, asking if she’s worried that Sarah is getting ahead of herself. But instead of discussing it, Charity quickly changes the subject.
