Will he opt for the painless way out as John promised? Or take the very small chance that someone might still come to his rescue? Will Mack end it all? (Credit: ITV) Time is running out for Mack in Emmerdale spoilers Mackenzie may have used up his nine lives, but somehow, he’s still hanging in there. How much longer can he go on though? It’s been over two weeks since Charity’s husband was first locked in that perfectly equipped WW2 bunker John stumbled across as a kid. Life in the underground lair has been hell and frankly it’s a miracle Mack and his pearly whites still look so good. Mack did manage to make it above ground after outsmarting his captor. He made it all the way to the main road, until John – and his axe – found him. For a moment fans feared the pyscho Sugden had killed again. But Mack had just been returned to his bunker. In the meantime, Aaron finally woke up to the fact his husband is a killer. Unable to finish Mackenzie off with his own bare hands, John instead handed him a loaded syringe. He told Mack what happens next is his choice. He can either put himself out of his misery by injecting himself, which would induce a deep sleep and eventful death. Or endure a longer and much more painful end. John then departed, telling Mack he would never be returning. A short while later, John took Aaron over the edge of a gorge with him after framing Robert for his crimes. Aaron was Mack’s last hope, but now he could die and there’s no one else who knows where he is. Can anyone save Mack now?
