He’s able to get Vinny to open up, but just as Gabby hopes things are back on track she witnesses her husband getting cosy with another man… Gabby turns to Charles for help (Credit: ITV) Gabby fights for her love in Emmerdale spoilers It’s been less than a month since they became husband and wife, but Gabby and Vinny’s marriage is already in trouble. The couple were thrown into crisis last week after Gabby learnt Vinny had lied about the true nature of his connection to homophobic bully Mike. The truth came out in court and Gabby has been left reeling from the discovery that Vinny was questioning his sexuality. But Gabby’s no saint either. While visiting her mum Bernice in Spain, she cheated on Vinny with a hunky local called Jorge. Gabby confessed her guilty secret to Laurel, but has failed to tell the one person who needs to know. As the week begins, Gabby is desperate to rescue her relationship. Vinny starts to open up to Charles (Credit: ITV) Charles counsels Vinny and Gabby Vinny is shocked when Gabby reveals Charles is here to give them couples’ counselling. Things get off to a tricky start, but after some gentle coaxing from Charles, Vinny finally begins to open up. Charles can see how much Vinny and Gabby care for one another and they’ve got a marriage worth fighting for. His calming words help ease the tension as Vinny and Gabby are hopeful for the future. But is it just wishful thinking? And are they merely trying to paper over the cracks? Lewis tries to help Vinny (Credit: ITV) Lewis gets Vinny to be honest After their chat with Charles, Vinny and Gabby are going round the village acting like love’s young dream. They try and put on a united front, but Lewis can see it’s all a front. Ross’s brother – who likes to think of himself as the local love doctor – decides to make Vinny his next project. Sitting down with Vinny over a cuppa, Lewis offers him a friendly ear. Vinny instantly feels at ease in Lewis’s presence and starts discussing his recent problems.
