For months, Vinny has been lying to Gabby’s face about the fact he might be gay. She knows nothing about his blackmail ordeal at the hands of homophobic Mike, or that he framed Kammy for his attack. But Vinny isn’t the only one who’s harbouring secrets. There’s something that Gabby hasn’t told her husband. And it’s pretty major. She came close to confessing on their wedding day, but instead chose to ask Vinny if he would adopt little Thomas. She asks Gabby what’s going on and is stunned to learn she slept with another man in the lead up to her wedding. Unburdening her guilt gives Gabby a sense of relief as she explains to Laurel what drove her to do the dirty. But when Laurel insists she needs to tell Vinny the truth, Gabby refuses. As far as she’s concerned it’s going to the grave with her. Can Laurel persuade her to change her mind and do the right thing? Viewers will recall how Vinny finally found the courage to report Mike to the the police on the day of his wedding. Suddenly Vinny finds himself trapped in a dilemma. He knows him speaking up in court would stop Mike targeting other victims and likely put the thug behind bars. But this would increase the risk of Gabby uncovering his lies. Later, Gabby tells Vinny he can officially adopt Thomas. He tries to share in the excitement, but is also aware of the ticking timebomb that could destroy their little family.
