Vinny flees moments after Gabby drops a bombshell that leaves him fearing the worst. Will he finally find the courage to be honest about who he really is? Kammy can see what a state his friend is in and feels awful for the mess he’s caused. Last week, Vinny confessed to Kammy about Mike attacking him. Kammy then took it upon himself to try and give Mike a taste of his own medicine. After posing as an admirer on the LGBTQI+ chat room, Kammy lured Mike to a meeting in the countryside. But his revenge plan went wrong, and now Mike is threatening to ruin everything for Vinny. Over Mulberry Cottage there’s gasps of delight from the bridal party as Gabby emerges, looking stunning in her satin wedding dress. Viewers will remember Bernice fled the village in shame back in 2023 after being forced to sign over her half of the B&B to sister Nicola. Wherever Bernice goes drama follows, and this brief return is set to be no different. The reason behind Bernice’s unexpected return soon becomes clear as she hints Gabby is hiding something from Vinny that could jepordise their wedding. Bernice wants her daughter to think really carefully before going ahead with the nuptials, but Gabby is conflicted. He’s thrown into panic when she arrives and fears Mike must have outed the truth about his sexuality. But that’s not why Gabby has come. With a wall between them (for luck), Gabby admits to Vinny that something is wrong and has been for a while. Her confession leaves Vinny consumed with guilt over the mess he’s created and he heads out of the salon. Where is he going? Unaware that Vinny has gone AWOL, Gabby returns home and tells Bernice she didn’t call the wedding off. She then asks half-brother Arthur if he’ll do her the honour of walking her down the aisle.
