The police are soon called, but will they believe Joe when he says it was an accident? Nigel wants justice for his family (Credit: ITV) Joe wants justice in Emmerdale spoilers The two clans are at the centre of Emmerdale’s issue-led storyline, which all kicked off when Clemmie sent an indecent image of herself to Carl. Clemmie didn’t understand the seriousness of what she’d done, but soon Carl had circulated the picture to his mates online. The police were then called and Carl was interviewed under caution. Meanwhile, Dawn attempted to resolve the situation amicably, but Nicola was apoplectic. As far as she’s concerned the Tates are the sworn enemy. Next week, the police conclude their investigation and inform the Kings they won’t be taking any further action against Carl. Jimmy and Nicola are beyond relieved, but Joe is furious. He wants tougher justice for Clemmie and makes his feelings known. Later, Joe is distracted while out driving and doesn’t see someone in the road. His Porsche ploughs into them and when Joe gets out he sees Jimmy lying unconscious on the ground. But he’s forced to change his mind when he realises Caleb has seen the whole thing happen. There’s no love lost between the brothers, and Joe knows Caleb will turn him into the police if he drives off. So he reluctantly rings for an ambulance to come and rescue Jimmy. She rushes to his hospital bedside and is horrified to see Joe there, being questioned by the police. Nicola confronts her nemesis, who swears blind he didn’t run Jimmy over deliberately. However, Nicola is certain this was a targeted attack. Swearing her revenge, Nicola decides to make a statement to the police, incriminating Joe. Will he get stitched up for a crime he didn’t commit?
