Robert’s hopes of a happy ever after with Aaron could be dashed after Kev makes a shock announcement in Emmerdale spoilers next week. His bombshell leaves Robert with a decision to make, but will he tell Aaron about his secret husband and risk losing him forever?

Robert is deceiving Aaron in Emmerdale spoilers

Fans are still reeling from Kev’s arrival and the jaw-dropping discovery that he’s Robert’s husband. Robert revealed to Victoria that he’d wed Kev after he saved him from the clutches of his prison tormentors, and insisted he owed him his life.

Kev remains behind bars for armed robbery, but his time is running out. He was allowed out on day release because he’s terminally ill and has told Robert he has just six months to live.

So now the pressure is building on Robert. He feels he should remain loyal to Kev during his dying days and is looking forward to inheriting his fortune. But Robert can’t escape that his heart wants Aaron.

How much longer can he hide the truth?

Aaron asks Robert to stay the night

Being back in the village holds painful memories for Aaron. The ordeal he suffered at the hands of John remains raw, and he’s anxious of being on his own.

Aaron lets Robert know that he will be moving out of The Woolpack and back into his apartment. He asks Robert if he’ll stay with him on the first night and he accepts. But when Victoria finds out she’s quick to remind her brother of his other man. Vic realises what’s at stake, but is exasperated by Robert’s reluctance to tell Aaron about Kev.

While Robert tries to figure out he’s going to do, Aaron is still struggling. He confides in Robert and expresses his hopes for them to make fresh start as his guilty lover ignores an incoming call from Kev.

Later, Robert discovers what his hubby was ringing about when Kev summons him to the prison. Feeling bound by duty, Robert agrees to go, but has no idea what’s in store.

Kev drops a bombshell on Robert in Emmerdale spoilers

Next day, Robert heads off to see Kev after telling Aaron he’s got an appointment with his parole officer. Aaron might have fallen for his fib, but angry Vic knows exactly what Robert is up to.

Soon, Robert is sat in the prison visiting room with Kev, and he’s knocked sideways when his other half reveals a piece of shock information.

What could Kev’s revelation be? And will it finally force Robert to come clean to Aaron?
