The couple’s latest war of words takes place on the third anniversary of their late baby’s death and ends with Charity showing her husband the door. Is there any way back for her and Mack? Are Charity and Mack headed for divorce? (Credit: ITV) Mack and Charity are on different pages in Emmerdale spoilers Charity and Mack’s marriage has been in trouble for a while now, but her surrogacy journey has really highlighted the gulf between them. For starters, Charity didn’t even consult her husband before she offered to be Sarah and Jacob’s surrogate . When Mack did eventually find out he threatened Charity with divorce if she went ahead with the treatment. And let’s not forget how Charity chose to confide in her ex Vanessa first when she thought she was having a miscarriage. Even now Charity is pregnant Mack is still struggling to understand her choice. He’s buried his own feelings in order to support her. But a sad reminder of everything he’s lost is about to tip him over the edge. Ross winds Mack up over Charity’s pregnancy (Credit: ITV) Charity kicks Mack out Next week, Mack tries to make plans to spend some quality time with Charity but she’s too busy. He decides to take himself off to the pub instead where he runs into Ross. article continues below Read all the latest spoilers Amused by the thought of Charity carrying her great-grandchild, Ross starts playfully ribbing Mack. But he’s in no mood for jokes and announces it’s three years to the day since he and Charity lost their unborn baby. And to make matters worse, Mack knows that Charity hasn’t even remembered. One drink soon turns into many, and drunken Mack can’t hide his feelings any longer. He lays into Charity, admitting he has a problem with the surrogacy and can’t believe she could have forgotten the anniversary of their child’s passing. Mack’s words cut deep and angry Charity tells him to find somewhere else to sleep. Later, her fury turns to fear as she wonders if their marriage can survive.
