On screen this week we saw John pull Aaron over a cliff and manage to fram Robert Sugden for it and get everyone believing he’s the victim. The only person who knows the truth, Aaron, is in a coma, and now John is making threats to kill him. We already know from spoilers for Monday, September 15 to Friday, September 19 there’s plenty more drama next week as we reach Gabby and Vinny’s wedding day and Bernice is back! Beyond this we can look forward to watching some big storylines finally reach their end, some huge characters may be saying goodbye – and some other villagers getting a chance to shine. Read on for our pick of the best upcoming Emmerdale spoilers… John is on his way out (Credit: ITV) 1. John’s end finally here in Emmerdale spoilers (we promise!) We know we keep saying it, but we are really, really close the end for John Sugden. Or at least the end for now! Robert might have been arrested for John’s crimes, but he’ll keep banging away and soon enough someone will listen – Matty Barton is already listening, in fact. All of this is not to mention Oliver Farnworth, who plays John, recently said he was on a year’s contract – which would be up in August 2025, so it looks like we won’t have to wait much longer. article continues below Read all the latest spoilers The Sun has also reported that Oliver’s contract is coming to an end – and won’t be renewed. Believing this, the end of John should now be here. We don’t know much about what happens next. Robert is in prison and John is so far milking the victim card. But he can’t cover his tracks forever… John is planning to kill Aaron (Credit: ITV) 2. Aaron’s life or death battle Currently in an induced coma, unable to breathe on his own, after being pushed off a cliff by John, it’s unclear whether Aaron will pull through. Of course one person who doesn’t want him to is John himself. Aaron is the only one who knows all his secrets and could bring it all crashing down on him. Despite his threat to kill Aaron this week, John so far hasn’t gone through with it. But will he? Or will he get caught trying? No one knows where Mack is right now – only John (Credit: ITV) 3. Where is Mack? The last time we saw Mack he has tried to escape and was recaptured by John. John then told him he wouldn’t be coming back and left Mack chained in the underground bunker. He left Mack with a syringe to finish himself off painlessly should he be unable to cope with a slow death. Next week we know Mack will use the syringe and start hallucinating Charity. But will some miracle save Mack again? Can anyone get to him in time? Well, it probably all hinges on Aaron waking up and we’re not sure when – or if – that’s going to happen. Bear Wolf has left, but he’ll be back (Credit: ITV) 4. Bear’s ‘never-done-before’ storyline We have no idea where Bear is or what’s wrong with him, but we don know he’s getting a huge storyline. When he was on our screens last, we saw that he had stopped being like his usual self. Instead, he turned nasty and lashed out. But we never got any answers as to what was wrong. Back in May, Emmerdale producer Laura Shaw teased some upcoming storylines. One of which involves Bear. She said: “He’s going off screen for a little while. He’ll go missing and when he comes back what you’ll see is a very different Bear in a very different situation.” Laura added: “We’re all going to be watching going: ‘What the hell has happened here?'” Lisa Riley has now teased some more details. The Mandy Dingle actress told The Sun at the National Television Awards earlier this week: “I can promise you a lot of drama where he is. And it’s going to be a big storyline on the horizon. That’s like Laura, our producer. That’s her baby. “I can’t even give you any clue, because you won’t actually get it. I told my other half, Alan, he was like, that’s never been done. That’s never been done before. That’s the truth. It’s not been done in a drama.” Victoria will be leaving (Credit: ITV) 5. An exit for Victoria… In the coming months we will be saying goodbye to the iconic Victoria Sugden. But in happier news, it’s not forever – as actress Isabel Hodgins announced she is expecting her first baby! Isabel just recently got married and so the whole thing is absolutely adorable. And she joins the many Emmerdale stars having babies recently.. It just means we will lose Victoria soon. And we have a few ideas on how that will go down. Knowing John’s coming to an end soon – our main theory is that Vic can’t handle what her brother had done and how she had been his number 1 fan. And so she may up and leave the village. However, we do like the theory that Adam Thomas may reprise his role as Adam Barton and whisk her away with him – what a treat that would be! Angry Ross puts the pressure on Charity (Credit: ITV) 6. Who’s the dad – and mum? In a SHOCKING turn of events, it was revealed earlier this month that Ross had slept with Charity. And it seems he’s convinced he’s the father of the baby she is expecting. Now, to be honest the timeline here is confusing because we were under the impression Charity would have been already pregnant when she and Ross had their one night stand. But for some reason he’s convinced it’s his. Obviously, they do have form. They share their son Moses (who has once again vanished from our screens). While Ross may have gotten into Charity’s head about being the dad, Emmerdale fans are convinced the baby will actually be Mack’s. And if his death reports are true – then that’s heartbreaking. But this also would bring heartache for Sarah and Jacob, who are under the impression the embryo transplant worked and that Charity is carrying their baby. How long will Charity keep the secrets? And will it cause a divide in the family? Chris Coghill will play mysterious Kev in Emmerdale (Credit: ITV) 7. Village newcomers – Kev Former EastEnders star Chris Coghill is joining Emmerdale as mysterious Kev. He has started filming and his first scenes are set to air in late September. Kev will first be seen arriving in the village looking for directions. But of course there is more to it. So who is he actually looking for? And why is he in the village now? Emmerdale producer Laura gave a little more information – but not much! “We are delighted that someone of Chris’ calibre has joined our cast. I think the viewers will be intrigued to see how the character of Kev will cause shockwaves this autumn.” Intriguing! She continued to reveal he is connected to one of the characters already in the village, but his turning up will be a surprise to that character. “Kev has a strong connection to one of our characters and it’s safe to say his arrival is going to be a massive surprise that will have major repercussions for some of our villagers.” Ray manipulates Dylan into doing another job for him (Credit: ITV) 8. More to come for April and Dylan in Emmerdale spoilers? It’s been a busy few weeks for April and Dylan. First the young teen was thrilled her best friend was back in her life. But then she quickly realised that there was more than met the eye. Turns out Ray had his claws in Dylan. And is now very interested in April after realising she and Dylan were more than friends. As for why he’s so obsessed with using these specific teens, we’re unsure. He probably just likes knowing he can be in charge of everything. And is using their vulnerable mind-sets against them. But one thing that does seem obvious is that he isn’t going to just let them go easily. He want to be in control. And that doesn’t include letting them leave their deals. Next week April does a drug drop and is mugged at knifepoint. Does this mean Ray’s hold over her will increase even further? And with Dylan homeless again after Chas forced Paddy to throw him out, will he get the break he deserves at any point? Gabby and Vinny don’t have happiness in their future (Credit: ITV) 9. Vinny’s struggles to come to light As Vinny Dingle continues to struggle with his sexuality, one thing is for sure: there’s no happy ever after in his future with Gabby. Only he hasn’t quite worked that out yet. As he continues to lie about his horrific attack at the hands of Mike (who wasn’t really Mike) in some of the most horrific scenes in a very long time, Kammy is taking the blame for Vinny’s injuries. But Kammy now knows the truth and has made things a whole lot worse by confronting Mike who is now demanding another £10k to keep quiet. But Vinny’s wedding day to Gabby is coming up. And weddings in Soapland love a huge reveal. So can we expect him to confess what happened to his wife-to-be moments before they say ‘I do’? Or is something going to force the truth out there for him?
